Jason's P.O.V

I slammed the fridge door shut after taking out a can of beer from the fridge. Running by hands through my hair, I slumped down on the sofa.

I could hear the thunder rumble in the sky. I groaned, thinking about Anna. Out there, in the rain when she is terrified of thunder storms. I felt a hint of sympathy towards her, but that didn't last long.

I don't sympathize with anyone, Anna deserved what she got, she has to learn a lesson. It's a good think that is not in the house with me, because then the situation would be a lot worse.

I took a sip of my beer, trying not to feel bad. I never feel bad, ever. But somehow, today, there seemed new emotions in my heart.

I shook my head, irritated by these stupid emotional thoughts. I needed to calm down. I closed my eyes, leaning back against the sofa, I tried to take my mind away from Anna, but it wasn't so easy.

I remember the first time I had seen her. My car was parked outside her school gate, a year and a half back, and I was there on a mission. That was when I saw her.

The moment she walked out of school, my eyes were on her. I had been with girls before, but something about this girl made me feel different. Curious almost.

Her black hair swished as she walked, her brown enchanting eyes fixed on the tiny screen of her phone. Her face was perfect, flawless, and it had an innocent look on it. I had never seen something so beautiful . Her pouting pink lips and sun kissed cheeks attracted me more towards this girl, I simply couldn't take my eyes of her.

I remember starting my car and going up to her, to ask for directions. Just a show of course; I knew this place but for a chance to talk to her.
She bent over, her little angelic face peeking through the car window, giving me some directions about a place. I was truly spell bound by her and I didn't listen to a thing she was saying. I simply, drank in the beautiful girl in front of me. She smelled like wild flowers.

She straightened up starting to walk away. I jolted up with a start as if coming out of dream. "Hey miss! You were a great help. What is your name?" I shouted behind her.

She turned back around, her eyes hesitating, "Anna." She said shortly. I smiled, beautiful name, it suited her and added on to her innocent composure. "Thanks for the help," I smiled at her. She nodded, giving me a weird look before walking away.

I finished my mission after that, but the only thing that was on my mind was Anna. After I was done with my mission and had a few months off, I quickly did my research about her.

I found out everything I had to know about her, where she lived, her likes, her dislikes - everything. Then I started stalking her, I found out her personality, and about her friends.

Anna was a soft spoken, self - conscious girl. She was different from all the other girls. She didn't wear short, tight clothes even if she had the body fit for it, or she didn't attend any of those wild parties. She was special.

I knew it must be creepy to just stalk on her like that and plan on taking her, but what else could I do? I am Jason McCann, I just can't fall in love like in those fairy tales. I couldn't stay with her and have a happy family....its just wasn't possible for me.

But I had to have her, I loved her, and hopefully one day she would love me too.

I jumped up, startled, as my phone started ringing. It was Eric calling, one of the people who worked under me, a newbie.

I pressed it on my ears, irritated, "Boss?" the voice at the end of the other line spoke.
"Yeah? Its me. What do you want?"
"Boss, the mission went well, I am going home now, I will be there in two days." He said.
I smirked, "You got all the money?"
"Yes Boss, and we killed the guy too."
"Good, that fucker deserved to die. Thinking he can get away with taking my money. Well, bye Eric." I said, about to hang up.
"Boss?"
I stopped, "Yeah?"
"You got your girl?" he asked, curious. I could feel the anger coming back.
"Yes I did," I spit, "and you better stay within your limits Eric, dont even think about touching her, or....."
"Yeah Boss." Eric said nervously, hanging up.

I sighed, hearing the thunder crash down loudly, I felt bad of Anna. Uh...I need to stop thinking about her.

I gulped my beer down, feeling a little better, but that wasn't enough. I took out three more cans, finishing them too.

I collapsed on the sofa, fully spent. I could her the hard rain outside as sleep was took over my body.
