A Teenage Daughter

Dad,
I'm still a baby
But a big one
I really miss those days
When we had conversations, rather than arguments
Maybe you see me as a growing adult
And yes I am
But,  I can't even tell you how much I need you
You are giving me space
So much space
I don't remember the last time
We had a good laugh
I don't know how to talk to you
There's a side, where I hate you
And the other, I need you
Will you understand it without me saying it
