"HEY WHERE'D THE REST OF THE band go?" a guy said coming on the stage.

indigo and julie looked at each other, not knowing what to say.

"wait. were those holograms?" one of carrie's friends said.

"yes! yes, they were holograms. indigo plugged it into the ceiling projector before the show." julie said and indigo waved awkwardly.

"i'd explain it, but it involves algorithms and science stuff." julie chuckled. everyone started cheering and clap again.

"okay, people, show's over."

"let's get back to class, please." mrs harrison and principal lessa said guiding people out.

while they did this julie and indigo hopped off the stage, going to their superiors.

"mrs. harrison, im so sorry for not asking for permission. we just wanted to show you we belong here." julie said.

"as amazing as that was, your spots have already been filled by two other students." mrs harrison said as they watched a guy with a instrument case and letting it bang on the floor.

"come on, that thing is way too big for him!" indigo said crossing her arms. "he'll grow into it."

julie sighed and indigo shook her head. "i wish that i could help you, but my hands are tied."

their principal walked over, speaking up. "but mine aren't, and as much as i didn't approve of this little stunt that you two pulled, i will not go down in history as the principal who kicked the molinas out of the music program." principal lessa said.

"thank you!" indigo said jumping up and hugging julie.

"but... when you win your first grammy, i want to be thanked." she said.

"definitely." julie said. "thank you." indigo said again.

"congratulations." principal lessa said leaving. "welcome back!" mrs. harrison said hugging the girls.

when they were done they walked over to flynn, who was the last person there besides them. "wow. you did it." flynn said a bit sad.

"thanks to you." julie said smiling. "hey, you okay?" indigo asked.

"uh... i'm great. just when did you start playing with a hologram band?" flynn asked putting her hands in her pockets.

"oh, it was just one song. we're not a band. they're a band, a hologram band. definitely holograms." indigo said. she hated lying to flynn, but the truth was too unbelievable.

"yeah, i saw."

"why have you been keeping those cute boys a secret?"

"there's a reason for that. it's just... really crazy." julie said.
