"MAE!" I yelled and I ran towards him in full speed, I ran into his arms and he spun me around in his arms, "(Y/n)!" He said, I cried into his shoulder as he let me down.
I felt maven cup my face and wipe away a few of my tears as I cried, "Are you okay? you aren't hurt are you?" He asked, I nodded.
"I- I'm fine." I answered, I then felt lips on mines and realized it was maven kissing me, I closed my eyes and kissed back, then I pulled away.
I heard mike yelling at hopper in the other room, I pulled away from maven and saw El, El walked forward and pulled me into a hug, I hugged her back.
"Hey, El." I said, "Hi, (Y/n)." El replied, I then pulled away from the hug and she went to hug Dustin and Lucas.
"Eleven? Mae?" I heard max say, El turned to max and so did maven, "hey. um, I'm Max. I've heard a lot about you both." She greeted and held her hand out.
El looked down at Max's hand and instead of taking it she walked right past her, Maven didn't take her hand either and walked into the kitchen to see Joyce.
Joyce took them to wills room, I looked over at max to see her look down at the ground.

I sat at the dining table alone, lost in thought. Then I peeked into the living room and saw maven and El walking out front, I hurried up and got out of my seat, running outside and to maven.
"No, no, no- Don't leave me again." I said, maven turned to me with his eyebrows furrowed, "No, I won't. I promise. okay? never again." Maven reassured as he cupped my face.
When I looked at him I noticed his hair was getting a little longer, he looked the same as before.
"Do you promise?" I asked, Maven nodded, "I promise. and I promise to protect you. always." He told me.
Maven then walked closer to me, and I felt his lips on mine. It was soft and passionate, then he moved away and gave me one last look before walking to hoppers truck.
I then saw them drive off, I wiped any tears I had away and dusted myself off.
Jesse had left with Jonathan, I walked back into the house with the others and closed the door behind me.

I was sitting on the couch peacefully, but my head perked up when I saw lights outside.
