I ran to the elevator, the others following me, I pressed the button many times but it didn't work.
"Stairs." Maven told me, I nodded and we all went to the stairs, it was a long run but once we appeared we could see Jonathan struggling to open the door.
Maven pushed Jonathan out of the way and kicked the door down, I didn't know he had that much strength.
When the door opened, there was this large creature that looked like a spider or was somewhat similar to a spider.
El was quick to act as it ran towards us, she stopped it and threw it back and forth.
Then it fell to the ground with a loud thud, it stood up and went to run towards us again but maven raised both his hands and threw it out the window using his telekinesis.
"Go." I told Jonathan and pushed him inside the room with Nancy, we all ran downstairs and out into the parking lot.
El pushed us behind her and we saw what it was..that thing looked disgusting.

El was in her room while Maven was in the bathroom, I began pacing around.
Mike was rambling about something meanwhile I just wondered what maven was upset about.
"Okay, can you guys settle an argument for us?" Max asked and walked towards Nancy and Jonathan, "Who do you think should Decide El's Limits? Mike or Eleven?" Max asked.
"The way that you frame that is such bullshit." Mike spoke, I turned to him, "it's not bullshit, mike. This is your whole problem. And it's also precisely the reason why she dumped your ass." Max stated.
"El dumped you?" Nancy asked, surprised.
"Yeah, because she is conspiring against me. She's corrupting her." Mike defended, "No, enlightening her." Max said.
"That fact is, she's not yours. She's her own person fully capable of making her own decisions." Max explained.
"She's risking her life for no reason." Mike said, my eyebrows furrowed, "So we aren't gonna act like maven's not risking his life either?" I spoke, Mike sighed.
"Never said maven wasn't risking his life, but El mainly." Mike said and dismissed me.
"For no reason? Mike, the flayed are out there doing god knows what." I said.
