"Well look at all of the wonderful letters rose, i swear that boy gets more and more letters and get well cards every single day and i've honestly never seen anything like it before" The nurse said as she rolled her chair over to rose who was another nurse "Who?" Rose asked curiously "Who else? The well known popular basketball player that's been in a coma in this hospital aka, your patient" The nurse said as rose picked up one of the notes as she smiled while reading it "These people are so sweet, and yes he's very cared for" Rose replied.

"Very cared for ain't even the word hunny i heard that boy got scholarships and everything on hold for him and i ain't never heard of no colleges holding scholarships for someone that's in a coma, but that boy in 348? oh he's special especially on the court cause i done seen him play on the tv and he is wonderful!" The nurse said as she shook her head in disbelief "Grace are you really being a fan girl right now? show some decorum and respect our patient" Rose said as she joked while gathering papers together for other patients.

"Decorum? Say that to yourself because every time his daily visitor comes in y'all are always chatting it up while having a bunch of laughs and giggles to share and i've seen the way he looks at you rose..he's interested in you plus, he's fine as hell" Grace said as she smiled "Who Kanen? Oh my god grace we're just friends and plus im just doing my job by taking care of his nephew, that's all it is" Rose said as she shrugged her shoulders "So you tryna tell me he ain't fine as hell?" Grace asked as rose put the pen towards her cheek while smiling "See i ain't say all of that" Rose added as both of the women laughed.

"See i always know just watch, y'all will get together" Grace said as she smiled "Okay now Ms.fairy god mother what else shall happen in my life that somehow you seem to know so much about?" Rose asked as she turned her head towards grace "Hmm let me think..i know that Mr.Kanen is walking through those two doors right now, and now he's walking over here" Grace said as she hurried and put her head down acting like she was doing work "Wait huh?" Rose said as she accidentally slipped up on a piece of paper that layed on the floor.

"Fuck my life" Rose mumbled to herself as she looked up to see kanen standing in front of her with his hand out as rose admired his tattoos "You aight?" Kanen asked as he helped rose up as she brushed herself off "Yes im so sorry about that, it's been kind of a chaotic day" Rose said as she laughed awkwardly "Nah you good, just making sure you straight" Kanen said as rose looked back at grace to see her smirking as rose rolled her eyes "So, how are you?" Rose asked as they walked down the hall towards jahsir's room.

"I'm aight just keeping it together ya know? how about yourself, everything cool with you?" Kanen asked as he glanced at her "No, I mean uh yea definitely..just been working trying to keep enough money in my pocket for my daughter" Rose said as kanen nodded his head "You know you're a lil awkward right?" Kanen asked as he laughed "A lil? You mean a lot and i honestly try not to be" Rose said as she shook her head "You right i definitely mean a lot but nah its cool, it's actually cute" Kanen said as he laughed "Hm i've never knew anyone that called awkwardness cute" Rose said as she laughed.

"Well sometimes i find the small, weird shit attractive" Kanen said as he smiled "Attractive?" Rose asked "Yes, very" Kanen said as rose blushed and rose could just hear grace's words right now "Girl he's making a move on you..go for it and stop being pussy!" Rose thought to herself as she thought of what grace would say.
