Chapter 3
EleanorI walked towards one of the many cafés Melbourne had to offer it was my last week of touring with Unknown and my last week spent with Aiden, Colin, Braden and Luke before I left to go spend time with my brother Charlie for a few months.
I crossed one of the many busy roads nearly running smack bang into Andrew Millard. "Hey" he muttered and sent me a smile as passer-by moved around us like the sea parting for Moses."Hi" I replied and went to keep walking.
"Eleanor! Ella!" He called after me; I rolled my eyes turning in annoyance.
"What Andrew?"
"Can I ask you something important" He muttered and grabbed my hand dragging me into the doorway of a restaurant, we passed waitresses and waiters with trays of delicious smelling food, Andy dragged me into a booth at the back of the restaurant.
"Okay what do you want to ask now you have me trapped?"
"Trapped? Is that what you call this? I'd say friends talking casually"
I stared at him raising an eyebrow. "What do you want?"
"The band needs a graphic designer for our photography, album covers, and graphics in shows. Do you know anyone?"
"Why should I help you out?"
"Why shouldn't you?" Andrew whispered, he smiled at me...turning the full effect of his light brown eyes on me.
"Oh no! Nope...I will not fall for that...nice try...you can no longer bat your eyelashes at me Andy...I refuse to fall for your charms and gorgeous eyes"
"Please Ellie, you know someone I know it and plus you are kind of cornered aren't you"
"I may have a friend of mine from my kindy school years who is now a photographer you can figure out the rest."
"Preschool was that when you were adorable" He cooed touching my cheek.
I glowered at Andrew. "Alright. Sorry you're so cute when you're mad"
"Do you want her number or not!" I stated.
Andrew nodded, I grabbed his phone typing in my friend's number and handed it back to him, shoving past him, he fell back against the seat of the booth, I shot him a glare before walking away.
...
I walked swiftly back into the stadium carrying five coffee's with extreme care. "Finally what took you so long where did you go to Mars to get the coffee?" Braden asked and stopped pushing a large metal trolley with two large amplifiers to get his flat white latte.
Aiden, Colin and Luke rounded the corner Aiden carrying an electric guitar as Luke carried his own acoustic guitar, Colin carrying a notebook pencil stuck behind his ear.
"Sorry. I was- never mind actually"
Aiden, Colin, Luke and Braden froze coffee in hand. "You were where?" Aiden asked.
"No-where"
"Ellie...spill" Luke stated.
"It's complicated" I muttered grabbing my coffee and ran for it.
"Hey you took an hour getting back with this coffee we want an explanation!" Aiden shouted as I rounded the corner in a hurry.
"Yeah what's his name!" Colin called.
I felt my cheeks turn red and ran my fingers through my hair. Boys! I thought and groaned. There was no way I could tell them I was with Andrew or at least cornered by Andrew there would be even more interrogation.
I made my way towards the stage area doing a double check for tonight's song line up older and newer songs knowing what lyrics might need to pop up on the screen and when. "Eleanor Morgan?" a female voice stated.
