Eleanor

We sat in Luke's car windows rolled up as we flew along the dusty trails towards many wineries, brewery's and fancy restaurants and motels.
Luke's looked purely annoyed as he drove, his knuckles tightening on the steering wheel as we rounded a harsh bend in the road.
The radio in the car blared on a popular station and there was an eerie silence in the vehicle.
Aiden cleared this throat and smoothed out his button up grey shirt nervously, we made eye contact and he grimaced his brown eyes flickering to Luke in the driver's seat. I nodded knowing Aiden could sense Luke's distress and building anxiety.

"Oh Yay, I love this song!" Melia stated loudly we jumped slightly and a small giggle escaped my lips.

7 Minutes by Dean Lewis was playing on the radio. Melia started singing along with the first verse, clicking her fingers to the beat.

Colin smirked at her as he and Braden belted out the chorus loudly.

Aiden and I stared at each other and shrugged before singing along harmonising with each other. Aiden had a rather clear singing voice whilst Braden and Colin's were mellow and rough. Melia smiled.

Luke smirked at us, a smile lighting up his face. He joined in on the song, Melia eyes went wide when Luke began singing. "Oh My God!" She mouthed to me.

I let out a laugh as we turned up a long narrow drive leading up to an old Victorian Era style two-storey manor.

Aiden let out a low whistle at the manor and the guests walking along the concrete path into the reception area for the wedding. 'I feel very under-dressed" He muttered.

"Don't be Phillip's family are all pretentious snobs" Luke muttered pulling into a park.

He turned off the engine, resting his forehead on the steering wheel and let out a sigh. "Luke...it will be alright" I muttered leaning over the middle seat to attempt to reach his hand as Aiden and I were sat on spare seats in the back boot area of the Jeep.

"Alright stepping stone" He teased and linked his fingers with mine, he kissed the back of my wrist lightly before opening his door as Braden and Melia hoped out of the back seat. Braden and Luke folded down the back seat so Aiden and I could climb out of the boot area. Luke helped me stepped down onto the gravel as the small, slim high heels Melia had forced me to wear caused my accident prone side to emerge.

"You look very beautiful, but Ellie please don't break anything tonight" Luke muttered looking down at my shoes and back up at my face to smirk at me.

I smiled at him and smoothed down my vintage mint green dress that I had brought at a vintage market a few weeks ago, the dress had a peasant style, off the shoulder top and flared out into a skirt that came just above my knee; I nervously fixed my braided bun and bit my lip. "El are you coming bub?" Aiden asked, he ran a hand through his brown curly messing his hair up further.

I blinked noticing all my friends had begun walking; I swallowed down my anxiety and began carefully walking across the gravel cursing Melia and her overly girly-fied shoes

Luke jaw was tight, his expression guarded as he crossed to the paths, his fingers ran across his black button up shirt and black jacket smoothing out crinkles, I smiled at the fact that he was still wearing black skinny jeans and black sneakers. It reminded me of the first day I met Luke, how he had crossed the dusty landscape of my Uncle's property wearing a black t-shirt, black jeans, and new looking black sneakers.

...

A Few Hours Later

"Ellie!" Melia slurred from inside the toilet cubicle next to me.
