Eleanor

Luke let go of my hand and shut the door to his old room. I glanced around at the band/ soccer posters and art on the walls. An acoustic guitar leaned against one dark blue wall whilst another held, a few CD's.
A old PlayStation sat unhooked from the old looking television, and a skateboard was popped up against the bottom of a double bed with a black duvet.
I smiled. This was so obviously Luke's room when he was a teenager.
"You never told me you stayed here" I muttered.

"Unfortunately every second or so weekend as a teen I stayed with my mum and Phillip that was before I moved permanently with Dad to stay with George and yourself to finish the remainder of Highschool."

I nodded. Luke look highly annoyed at being in this household again.

"We should probably go down stairs before they send someone up to look for us." Luke mumbled before turning around and opening the door.

"Luke"

"Yeah honey?"

"It's going to be okay" I replied.

Luke let out a sigh "This is going to be one hell of a weekend"

He wrapped an arm around my waist pulling me in close and kissed my lips gently, biting my bottom lip with a small smirk. He smiled. "Ellie"

"Yeah?"

"I'm glad you're here with me baby"

"Ugh baby is such a cringe of a nickname"

"I think it's cute"

"You would"

"El we call you bub what is the difference"

"That's Aiden, Col, Brad and you. Not just you on your own"

"Aww does it make you cranky baby" Luke muttered his tone baby talk he pinched my cheek teasingly.

"Do that again and I will hit you" I threatened.

"I'm still going to call you baby whether you like it or not"

"You're such a jerk Harris"

"And you're so adorable when you're mad" Luke replied, he pinched both my cheeks.

I punched him in the stomach. "Ow that hurt" He whined doubled over slightly.

"Good" I muttered.

"Good! You just wait until we get back to my room, there will be consequences Morgan"

"Ill take a raincheck" I laughed.

...

"So what is it you do with your time Luke?" A women with a drawling voice asked, her face was red from too much champagne and she wore a string of tight pearls round her chubby neck.

Luke and I looked very out of place at this table for starters we were the youngest people here and secondly we were both not dressed in formal attire. "I'm a lyricists/musician I help co-write compositions for Unknown an indie rock band"

"Hmmm that sounds fascinating though your pay would not be very good would it... all these young people go into the arts and are barely able to live off their salary" A balding older gentlemen stated.

Luke's jaw clenched, his knuckles turning white as he tightened his left hand into a ball.

"What about you Evelyn?" The woman across from me asked.

"It's Eleanor" I muttered.

"Oh sorry dear...What do you do?"

"I'm a graphic designer"
