It was intriguing.

Kaya rocked back and forth on an old rocking chair on the balcony of their apartment. At first she had panicked and almost dashed out to look for her brother and mother as soon as she recalled everything but it was not a good idea.

Brainstorming with Chin-hae, Kaya realized it would only risk her life and she would be stuck in another unending cycle of losing and gaining her memories, a tiresome deal.

Kaya had so many questions, she had hastily texted them to Chin-hae but for some reason he had ignored her instead asked her for ways they could quickly put an end to the gas.

Would they light up stoves in every household and light up fire places?

Was their a gigantic stove somewhere ?

What would they do ?

Chin-hae had questioned and Kaya clueless.

Did the avengers exist ?

She had texted.

They must have fell asleep too.

He had answered.

And he was right.

Kaya had decided for a quick shower after filling up the stove with coal and getting snacks across.

She had taken a day's meal too.

A tiresome job, she had to carry around the stove to the mini-mart.

Kaya:
Why do I keep waking up but the others can't ?

Chin-hae again ignored the question and instead said :

Chin-hae:
There's someone else awake just like you.

Kaya:
Why are you always awake ?

Chin-hae:
The gas has an opposite effect on me, instead of sleeping I keep awake as long as I'm in contact with it.

Kaya:
Strange !

Chin-hae:
Yes, indeed.

Kaya:
How did you figure that out ?

The pause was obvious, he was thinking about his answer and his reply made Kaya skeptical.

Chin-hae:
I just kind of did so.

Kaya felt, he knew more than he was telling her.

She did not push it.

Kaya :
Who is the other person ?

Chin- hae:
You'll meet him soon.
