One month later...

"Try to move your leg," Jeongin held her foot gently, and Eunha groaned as she tried to lift it up a bit.

"It hurts!"

"So does sex, but everyone does it."

Eunha kicked him with her other foot, making him stumble backward and chuckle, "Okay, okay! Kidding. This will hurt a bit, but it gets better."

"Your bedroom talks are improving a lot lately, Jeongin," Minho commented from the side, and Eunha glared at him. Currently, they were all sitting in an empty class after school, since their usual table was taken, and the stairs were being reconstructed. Also, the girls' dormitory building had a new warden -- the authorities had given up on searching the old MILF warden, and that was just sad.

"Guys, let them breathe," Chan chuckled, "Eunha might have freshly lost her superpowers, but she's still stronger than all of us."

"All -- but Changbin," Felix remarked, "He can take her in a headlock and snap her neck easily."

"With all due respect -- and by that, I mean 'listen here, you fucker'," Eunha began, "I still have the spark in me to finish him off. They might have taken my powers, but I still know combat and lethal attacks."

"She's scaring me again," Hyunjin mumbled, hiding behind Jisung, who was hiding behind Seungmin, who was searching Google for 'how to respectfully feed people expired wasabi'.

"Let's not finish people off-" Chan couldn't complete when Changbin protested, "HOW DARE YOU?"

"Oh, I did," she folded her arms, smirking cockily at him, "You wanna go for a brawl?"

"Your foot is literally broken, Eunha," Jeongin scolded her, "Don't challenge the muscle man ratata to a brawl right now. Do it five months later when you're all healed!"

Eunha stared at him, liking the sentiment behind his scolding. She, of course, did not have a degradation fetish like one of their classmates, Wooyoung, but she liked it when he got serious for her and cared for her. Her life had been lacking that concern for decades, and now that she had it, she was grateful. And obviously, she was going to keep it a secret.

"Hey, Bang Chan," a girl's voice called out to the dad of the group, and everyone looked at the source of the voice. Eunha's eyes widened, "That's the girl who spilled that liquid drug on me the day I arrived!"

Having told everyone about her original target a few weeks back, all the boys eyed her and went, "AHHHH!"

"What...?" that girl was confused, but Chan continued, "Hi, what's up?"

"I just wanted to tell you that I really, really like you," she confessed, blushing, "Would you like to be my boyfriend?"

"BOO!" the group hooted in disgust.

Chan looked at her, smiled, and then (let me fuel my inner delulu) spoke, "Thanks, but I really prefer the Banger."

From a distance, they could hear a triumphant scream of the Banger. If you listen closely, you can hear it, too. *adds a clip of my screaming*

The girl walked off, complaining, "This story started because of me, ungrateful swine, all of you! If I hadn't been stupid enough to spill the coffee, this love story wouldn't even have started, ugh!"

"...Okay, so that was that," Felix spoke, and then gasped, "JISUNG! THE MARKS FOR THE PRESENTATION WILL BE ANNOUNCED TOMORROW, I JUST REMEMBERED!"

"Yeah, but Eunha already corrected the marks on that one, right?" Jisung was carefree.

"Actually..." Eunha began, "I had her hypnotized, but when my mother took away my powers, I think the hypnotic state of hers broke as well. So... we might be in danger, because she has to go through all the presentations again for the final marking, and you submitted your sleep-deprived presentation like a goddamn fool."

Jisung fell off the chair he was sitting on, "DID I HEAR THAT RIGHT?!"

"AHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Hyunjin laughed.

"WHAT ARE YOU LAUGHING AT? YOU SLEPT THE ENTIRE TIME!"

"AHAHAHA- oh..."

Jisung launched, "EVERYONE, JOIN ME FOR MY PRAYER CIRCLE FOR DELAYED RESULTS AND THE PRESENTATION SUDDENLY BEING DELETED OFF HER SYSTEM!"

"Prayer circle?" Eunha raised a brow.

"Yeah!" Jisung spoke, clueless.

"Dude, you do realize that she's from Hell, right?" Jeongin deadpanned.

"Ah, right. Rest of you, accompany me to my room," the poor presentation guy lead the others to his room, his voice fading away as far as he walked, "I think I'll try to get Jesus Christ to help me secure my grade. I have an entire future ahead of me: I have to woo a girl and have kids and..."

As they all walked off, Jeongin looked at Eunha. She was looking at the sunset through the window, and how the tint of blue shaded the sky lightly. A hint of diffused orange and red was in the lower background, and she stared at the dipping sun, he thought about how she had selflessly saved him from his untimely death. That wasn't the only reason he adored her, though.

Her big eyes, carrying a universe full of fire in them, appealed to Jeongin like no other -- as if that fire could set the world on fire, and could resurrect him, too. Her occasional smile, which not everyone could see often, was a treasure he dearly cherished. Her mannerisms, her personality, her temperament, and her adoration -- he was soaked in love for each of it.

Yang Jeongin had fallen for Jung Eunha, and they both knew it; for she had fallen for him, too.

"Hey," he spoke.

"Yeah?" she turned to look at him.

"I love you."

A little bit of redness covered her cheeks when she lowly spoke, "I love you, too."

Jeongin chuckled, climbing close to her and wrapping his arms around her loosely. She turned her head away when she pulled at his arms to get them tighter without saying anything, and he giggled even more.

"Look at me," he spoke.

"No."

"Please, Your Highness?"

She sighed and turned to look at him, "What?"

"Can I kiss you?"

She smiled a bit, "Do it, coward."

And, having journeyed from planning to kill someone to saving someone, her eyes gleamed, and they kissed.

the end.
