Vox was a prince, the second head of the throne. He hated being the prince, he would be sent to meet his mistresses. Shoto decided to run away for a little while. He walked through the village in a disguise. He saw children running, playing, and giggling. It was his birthday today, it was a special day for him.
"The majesty is missing!" A kindred announcement to the emperor. Emperor Marcus was mad about this and he ended up guards to find his son. Shoto ran far away until he found a village filled with hydrangeas. Vox smiled loving the smell of it. Vox saw a purple-haired person spending time with children.
Vox realized he is the prince of Bakumori. Vox admired how beautiful he was. Vox took off his cloak and people screamed. "Demon, Monster!" They started running inside all of their houses. The children were confused as the village stayed empty. Shoto gave Vox the guest room.
"You can stay here" Shoto sighed "I have to go on a mission." Shoto smiled about to leave. "Can I come with you?" Vox's eyes sparkled. "What no!
A bow from an arrow slid past Vox. "Eh?" Vox said, confused. Shoto walked towards Vox with his purple sword. "Who are you?." Shoto pointed his sword at him. "I am Vox Akuma, I promise I won't bite!" Vox sweated with mercy since he doesn't have the energy to fight. Shoto spared with him. "Are you lost, voice prince?" Shoto walked around where Vox was standing.
"I just need somewhere to hide." Vox smiled kindly. "You ran away didn't you?" Shoto smiled. "Yeah I did," Vox sighed. "Fine, I will allow you somewhere to hide." Shoto sighed. Vox smiled in delight. Shoto brought Vox to the castle, the maids, butlers, and people in the castle looked scared as Vox walked in.
Vox can only do a friendly smile and wave to the people but they would be scared of him. Shoto gave Vox the guest room. "You can stay here" Shoto sighed "I have to go on a mission." Shoto smiled about to leave. "Can I come with you?" Vox's eyes sparkled. "What no! Do you know how to fight?" Shoto looked at Vox. Vox shakes his head with a no. "I want to learn how to battle, it looks fun!" Vox smiled. Shoto sighed.
"Alright tomorrow, I will teach you how to battle." Shoto smiled softly going to his mission. As Shoto came back he had a lot of wounds. Vox helped with Shoto's wounds on his back. The next day, Shoto trained Vox on battling with a sword.
Vox kept on failing, and Shoto would tease Vox about how he kept on failing in his attempts. The more Vox got trained he got stronger than Shoto. "Heh, look who is weaker now." Vox smiled looking at Shoto. Vox grew two inches taller than Shoto now. Shoto was now embarrassed because he is the weakest now.
"You're stronger than me now" Shoto laughed and smiled proud of Vox. Shoto and Vox would spend more time with each other around the village, forests, missions, and the garden. The people wouldn't be afraid of Vox anymore. Vox has been missing since two years ago.
Shoto felt butterflies around Vox. Shoto and Vox would be sometimes titled as the cutest couple even though they aren't together. One day, Shoto was picking out red spider lilies when he felt a hit on the forehead. Shoto passed out and one of the Akuma guards carried him to a chained dark dungeon.
Vox was waiting for Shoto and he felt worried because it was snowing outside today. Vox decided to go outside. Some of the guildies went with him. Vox saw Shoto's purple sword and he saw a note that he was captured somewhere. Vox couldn't calm down and he cried a lot holding onto the note.
"I will find you Shoto." Vox stood up and rode his horse. Shoto got tortured a lot in the past five days. Vox decided to go back to his castle, Vox sneaked into the dungeons and opened the dark dungeon. He saw Shoto shaking with a lot of tears and lots of wounds. "Shoto who did this to you." Vox got worried, hugging Shoto tightly. "E-Emperor. Marcus." Shoto shakes a lot "You should not fight him Vox he is dangerous." Shoto held Vox's hand before the consequences happened.
"Oh my, what do we have here? My son." Emperor Marcus smiled. Emperor Marcus had a long knife. Shoto was afraid of Emperor Marcus. As Emperor Marcus was about to stab Shoto but Vox stood in front of Shoto and ended up stabbing Vox. "NO!" Shoto cried on his knees "Vox! Please stay with me! I will call doctors!" Shoto cried carrying him quickly. Vox could feel droplets on his face. Shoto could hardly carry Vox but he has to fight it.
Shoto found doctors and the doctor took Vox to a room immediately. Shoto could only cry and worry about Vox. Shoto waited for Vox, holding onto Vox's cape tightly. The doctor came out. "He is alright, he just needs to stay for a while here due to injuries." The doctor smiled. Shoto watched Vox for five weeks.
One day Shoto laid his head on Vox's stomach crying a lot wishing he would be okay. "Shoto. Let's run away back to Bakumori." Vox smiled being awake and recovered. "Are you sure you're alright?" Shoto sniffled. Vox nodded and the two ran away to Bakumori while riding a horse. Bakumori was happy as Shoto and Vox came back safely.
Timeskip
Vox and Shoto had been dating for two years together. The village would always put on celebrations whenever it was their anniversary. Emperor Marcus got executed one year ago for being the worst king. The Akuma empire had come to Bakumori. One day Vox and Shoto were together on the balcony at the lantern festival.
Vox knelt. "Vox, what are you doing?" Shoto laughed. Vox showed a ring box and opened it. "Will you be the love of my life, Shoto? I want to be with you forever, I want to have a family with you, a generation, and a life with you. So will you marry me?" Vox smiled. "Yes! I want to!" Shoto teared up and hugged Vox.
The two got married. Shoto was crowned as the king and so did Vox. Vox and Shoto would tell their love story to their children. They would help out the village and have a powerful empire together. Shoto and Vox's story continued to each generation.
