Shoto has been training to be a lifeguard for one year. Today was his day after a lot of training. Shoto couldn't sleep and he kept his eyes open. He was nervous that he was going to fail, like what happened with his driving license. So when the sun rose that morning, he woke up as his mother woke him up.
"Wake up Shoto, it's time for your test." His mom smiled. Shoto ran downstairs. "Watch your steps!" His mother yelled. Shoto went slow and saw his father drinking coffee while watching the news. Shoto's sister and brother hugged his legs. "Your sister and brother made you pancakes." Shoto's mother smiled.
Shoto smiled back. Shoto had never seen his parents smile so much. Shoto ate his pancake happily. He had just finished his breakfast when his dad told him it was time to go. Shoto went in the car with his dad and Shoto was nervous. As Shoto got out of the pool center, he smiled.
"I am a lifeguard now!" Shoto smiled. "We are so proud of you honey." Shoto's mother hugged him. Shoto and his family went to celebrate at the buffet. As Shoto was looking through social media, he saw the hottest waiter. "I am Vox Akuma and I will be your waiter today." He pulled out a notepad.
What beverages would you like?" The waiter smiled. Shoto could only keep his eyes on him and he couldn't stop blushing at how hot he was.
"Uh I would...um," Shoto was still trying to find the words to say but they wouldn't come out of his mouth. Shoto's siblings giggled and Shoto was red. "I would love water." Shoto nosebleed. "Oh my, your nose is bleeding." Vox got a tissue and helped his nosebleed stop.
Shoto looked at him. "Thank you.." Shoto blush slightly. He noticed the waiter's hand was around his wrist. Vox gave a shy smile and left. As the hot waiter came back to give his siblings a drink, Shoto covered his face. Shoto was getting food in the buffet section and he couldn't stop looking at Vox Akuma. Shoto was eating his food when Vox came back.
"Here is your water, sir." He said. Shoto took it and thanked him. Shoto blushed and the waiter gave him his number to Shoto. His parents pat his back and Shoto blushed red. The next day was Shoto's first day. As he was on the beach, lots of girls asked for his number and Shoto didn't know what to say. Shoto loved the waves and in his break, he would sit on the sand enjoying the wave pushing toward him.
It felt good to be able to relax and enjoy himself. As Shoto was watching the kids running, he heard a lady scream. "Someone is drowning!" She yelled. Shoto ran to the ocean and he saw the same man he saw in the buffet. He realized it was Vox.
Shoto dived in and got Vox Akuma. He was heavy and Shoto brought his back offshore. Shoto went on top of him and started performing CPR on him. After a few seconds, Shoto stopped CPR. The crowd was cheering on Shoto for helping Vox.
After Shoto finished CPR, Shoto pulled off the mask on Vox, who was unconscious. Shoto tried to wake him up and Vox opened his eyes to see Shoto. Shoto smiled. "Hey, you're okay now." Shoto panted softly. Vox blushed and he couldn't stop how beautiful Shoto was.
"Are you okay?" Shoto smiled. "You saved me from drowning...." Vox smiled but blush at the same time because he knew how pretty Shoto was. "You're very handsome," Shoto said quietly. Vox laughed and smiled.
When Shoto was finishing changing up, he saw Vox drying up. Shoto smiled. "Is there anything you want to say?" Shoto looked at him. Vox smiled. "Do you want to go get some ice cream? Or lunch? Or something else?" Vox suggested.
"Yes," Shoto said softly. "I would like that very much." They were walking and talked until they reached the restaurant. Shoto smiled at Vox's hand and led him inside.
They were sitting and eating their ice creams. Shoto ate his ice cream and he liked it so much. Vox laughed and he noticed Shoto's ice cream got in his cheek. Vox went close to Shoto and wiped it off. Shoto blushed red while getting flustered and Vox laughed.
"Your so cute when you get flustered." Vox laughed. "Shut up." Shoto blushed blushing red. They both laughed and continued eating together. Shoto wanted to kiss his beautiful lips, but Shoto just met him days ago. Shoto just hid it instead.
After finishing their ice creams, they walked out and began walking again.
Vox smiled "Hey, hanging out with you was fun. Do you want to hang out again perhaps?" Shoto smiled. "Sure" Vox smiled.
They spent more hours talking outside. Shoto thought of ways to ask Vox out since they haven't properly gotten to know each other yet. Shoto decided this was not the time to bring up the question

When they finally returned home, Shoto felt exhausted and sad again, but Vox smiled at him again. "Would you like to do another hangout? Maybe tomorrow night we can watch that movie?" Shoto nodded and smiled. "Goodnight! Sleep well." Shoto smiled. "Goodnight." Vox smiled. Shoto watched Vox leave. Shoto fell asleep thinking about Vox.
When Shoto went to bed, he dreamed of Vox. Shoto tried to ignore it but he couldn't. He had feelings for the hot waiter that was always by his side. Shoto thought maybe he should tell Vox about his feelings. But how could he? He might be dating someone else.
