I didn't do angst for a long time so I decided to do it
Shoto and Vox have been together for three years. Shoto would always prank him each year in April. He would give Vox a toy spider, toothpaste food, and even not stay at the house for one hour. This prank was going to be awesome! He couldn't wait to see his boyfriend's face when he saw what Shoto had prepared for him for a long time.
It had taken months of planning, but he finally got a plan. His first plan. The ultimate plan. It would be epic! He hoped it would make his boyfriend happy, especially after the last couple of days. The anniversary of their relationship was coming up. The first time they met was April 1.
Flashback and Vox's POV
As I was looking out the window watching everything bloom. Everyone in my school was talking about this new boy at school.
Everyone was telling me all the different rumors about this guy's life. Everyone is talking about his pranks, which made me concerned. I saw every kid getting pranked in the hallway.
The new boy would airhorn people when their sleeping, scaring them, giving them, giving treats that looks off, etc. Vox thought he would get away from his pranks but Shoto ran up to him. "Hey, Vox. I got a coke for you." Shoto grinned giving a coke to Vox. "Hm, can you open it for me please?" Vox smiled crossing his arms.
Shoto opens the can and he was about to target it to Vox but it went to Shoto instead. "It's April fools today hm?" I laughed at him. "Yeah.." Shoto laughed knowing that Shoto will revenge on Vox soon. They grew as enemies and Shoto was playing lots of pranks with Vox. But the more Shoto did pranks on Vox. Slowly he caught feelings for Vox.
One day, he saw Shoto standing when Shoto was confessing. "I have a crush on you Vox... For a long time.- Shoto said. "Oh, Shoto. I'm in love with someone in my club and I'm so happy." Vox smiled. "Oh.. congratulations!.." Shoto smiled with one tear. "You thought hm? And you forgot the date" Vox blushed a little Shoto and smiled softly. Shoto realized he forgot his pranks on Vox but he canceled his prank just to confess to him.
Shoto and Vox were officially couples and they would always be seen around dates, the park, and they would be always seen holding hands.
End of flashback
Shoto couldn't wait to prank Vox today. As Shoto planned his first prank. "Hey, Vox want some coke?" Shoto said. "Sure." Vox smiled as he opened it the coda was fizzing and Vox was covering it. "Remember this day?" Shoto smiled. "It's April 1 Shoto," Vox said. 'Oh.. he has forgotten our anniversary today.' Shoto sighed.
After many pranks, Vox was starting to be annoyed. Shoto was starting to get tired of pranking him and the way he reacted to pranks. After his last prank of the day, Vox snapped l. "I am tired of your pranks Shoto... I shouldn't date you in the first place.." Vox looked at Shoto. Shoto held his tears and went upstairs.
Vox was using his phone and Shoto locked himself in the bathroom. After days, Shoto acted differently to Vox. As Vox was going to say morning to Shoto she walked past Vox. Shoto never ate and he never answered the door. Shoto was crying and sobbing. Shoto couldn't take it anymore. Shoto grabbed his dagger and stabbed himself. Shoto felt warm and he fell to the ground. Blood was everywhere staining the room floor. Shoto was holding a letter.
As Shoko, Shoto's sister was going to visit Shoto. She went upstairs and saw him. Shoko cried in panic and called the ambulance immediately. As she called the ambulance the doctors brought Shoto to the hospital. Shoko was sobbing in the hospital and Voxanne was hugging her. "Is Shoto okay?" Lucy ran to them. "I-I don't know!" Shoko sobbed. Voxanne patted her back and had tears in her eyes. Mysta ran to the hospital and breathed. "What happened?" Mysta breathed heavily. Shoko gave the note Shoto wrote.
"Dear everyone, Friends, family, and Vox. I'm sorry for being always annoying and making everything worse. But I'm happy I always will miss the memories you guys had with me. On the beach, at home, cafe, karaoke station, and at school. I'm sorry for letting you guys go but this is the only solution to my freedom... And Vox I'm sorry for being such an idiot. You deserve someone, not like me. I know I'm not funny and I just did this so you wouldn't be annoyed anymore. I love you everyone, don't forget to always laugh, smile, and have happy moments together! Sincerely Shoto"
Mysta cried and held the paper tightly. Lucy hugged Mysta and Mysta sobbed. As everyone in the room was waiting for Shoto they saw Vox. Mysta went up to Vox and slapped Vox. Vox held his cheek. "You bastard! Whats wrong with you?!" Mysta cried. "Huh?" Vox asked. "Shoto stabbed himself because he did it for you! You also forgetten your guys anniversary you idiot!" Mysta yelled at Vox.
Tears flowed down Vox face. Vox saw more doctors running to Shoto's room. "Look what you've done.." Mysta cried. "Guys." Lucy interrupted the argument. "Let's not argue for now.." Lucy asked. The doctor came out and he take off his mask. "Is he okay?!" Vox asked. "I hate to say this but he is dead." The doctor said bowing his head down. Vox cried and gasped. He couldn't think anymore and he was the idiot.
Vox believe that he was a terrible person who hurt his own lover. Days passed by after Shoto's death, Mysta ignored Vox and everyone made vigils for him and did everything for Shoto. Whenever Vox went outside he was always surrounded by couples and Vox was single. He would always visit Shoto with his favorite flowers. "I miss you Shoto also your pranks.." Vox cried. "I feel so stupid now because I made you like this.." Vox cried. Days ago, Shoto's funeral was on April 6 and Vox was there crying next to Shoto's coffin. When he stood up, he noticed everyone's faces. Shoto's parents were standing next to the crowd crying.
Aftee Vox left, Shoto was holding the flowers on his ghost form and he smiled at Vox far at the distance. Vox felt guilty. Vox felt horrible. Vox knew that he hurt Shoto by acting all mean to him. He didn't deserve Shoto's attention or care.. Shoto smiled hugging the flowers and he saw a note. Shoto read how Vox was sorry at that day and Shoto smiled. "I love you too Vox." Shoto smiled
