"Chuuya will be my right hand man and Oda will be an executive...The rest is all the same. Dismiss!" Dazai announced as he went back to his office table. As the crowd in his office gradually decrease, there was only Chuuya, Oda and Kouyou left in the office. When everyone else left, Dazai collapsed onto his seat and his table was immediately face down on the table. Oda chuckled as Kouyou sighed. Chuuya walked over to Dazai's table and ruffled his hair, sighing as well.

After checking that Dazai was fine, Kouyou purposely watched Dazai sleep that night. That, however, didn't make Dazai sleep but be wide awake instead. That was until Chuuya came in and pestered Kouyou to get out. After much persuasion, Kouyou gave Dazai a skeptic look and left. Chuuya then went back to his routine of making Dazai sleep by talking with him. It seems that the new mafia boss didn't actually wanted to be boss. They both slept after a while with Kouyou coming back to check on them only to find both soundly asleep. She smiled as she placed a blanket on Chuuya and walked out.

"Why did you make me an executive. You know I don't like standing out." Oda asked as he hit Dazai's head gently. Dazai yelped before looking up while pouting. "That hurt and also I don't want Odasaku being with the rest of my useless subordinates." Oda laughed with Chuuya giving Dazai a weird look. Kouyou massaged her temples while commenting, "Don't call them useless..." Dazai chuckled slightly before he used his hand to support his lazy head.

Everything was going well, Dazai didn't slack in his new job or should I say he actually had more time to slack off on his job. He just had to do more reports. Dazai, being the person he was, boredom slowly catches up with him and he decided to go out on missions with Chuuya just like the past. Dazai still and his skills so why don't use them? That was what Dazai always told his subordinates when they asked him to go back to the mafia base.

"It's too dangerous here!" Was what all of them said. That honestly pissed Dazai off. What do his subordinates think he was. A weakling they found at the side of the road. He understood they could risk losing another boss but he wasn't entirely powerless. His ability for example, the ability to nullify an ability coming his way. Either way, he wasn't afraid of any surprise attacks. Chuuya always covered his blind spots, resulting in all surprise attacks failing. That was just Soukoku's normal routine. Chuuya always covered Dazai's blinds spots while Dazai always nullified any troublesome abilities. That was partially the reason why they were invincible. It didn't come about easily like a knife slicing through butter. The first time Chuuya worked with Dazai after joining the mafia, he always noticed how Dazai never liked having his back against the air. It will always be facing the wall. That was until someone attacked him from behind, sort called his blind spot. That's when Chuuya understood and protected Dazai from behind afterwards. Dazai didn't admit it out loud but he was pretty confident that his partner will protect him at all costs, not bothering whether it was from the front or the back.

Nothing changed now. Just that the boss of port mafia didn't hide in the shadows, the boss fought along side with his members in fights. That honestly frightened the crowd more, much to Dazai's delight though. He had the mentality that Port Mafia should be the most feared organisation. Must have gotten that from Mori.

Despite the few months of Dazai being mafia boss, he hasn't found out who and why did a random individual assassinate Mori. He couldn't care less for the old geezer who made his life hell. He was only interested in the mysterious assassination and the fact why why Mori and the other older executive, like Hirotsu and Kouyou chose him to be the next boss. Why him out all people. Dazai had a thought that it would be Kouyou, since she was sort called the port mafia's mother. She must have had the leadership and attitude to be boss. However, they chose Dazai instead. Dazai, himself, thinks that he's doing a good job as a boss. He still had his missions he insisted himself to go to and of course, his best friend and lover are still alive. What else could he ask for?

"Boss, we have- " the ginger was stopped by the brunette who lifted his finger, gesturing for the ginger to stop, which Chuuya did. "I told you countless times, Chuuya. Stop with the formalities when you're with me..." Dazai supported his head with one hand, his elbow on the table. Chuuya coughed a few times before apologising. "Osamu...I've told you many times. It's disrespectfu-" Before Chuuya could finish his sentence, Dazai was up on his feet and walking towards Chuuya. "But we're alone!" Dazai whined as he intertwined his fingers with Chuuya's. Chuuya blushed slightly before Dazai gave Chuuya a peck on the nose. Chuckling, Chuuya kissed Dazai back but before it could get more heated, Chuuya shoved the paper in his hand in the middle of them, making Dazai let go of Chuuya. "Here is your report!"the ginger gave the papers to Dazai rather rushed and continued while he was walking to the door, "I need to go on a mission so call me if you need anything!" Dazai sighed and chuckled afterwards, "Shy as ever..."

On Chuuya's side, he finished his mission in a jiffy, successfully stopping Dazai from joining him in the mission. Patting the dust off his pants, Chuuya adjusted his hat before leaving the alley before he felt a small tug on his coat. He glanced over his shoulders and much to his surprise, he saw a boy which was clinging onto his coat. His eyes softened but he knew he shouldn't underestimate. What if the boy was actually a weapon of some sort?

"Kid, let go." Chuuya's voice was low and for a little boy, his tone would have frightened him already. Chuuya saw the boy flinch but his grip got tighter. Chuuya' eyes narrowed until he heard a soft 'help' coming from the boy's mouth. Chuuya's heart ached as memories from his past flowed back into his mind. Despite the many possibilities telling him not to, Chuuya slowly kneeled down as a smile crept onto his face. " And, why is a kid like you here?" On closer inspection, the dark blue haired kid had cuts and scratches, strands of hair sticking out of his head in random spots. A bit of dry blood on his forehead. The more he inspected, the more concerned Chuuya felt. A frown appearing in his face when he heard the boy stutter, "There's a group of man...catching..me." The boy sniffled until footsteps were heard. He yelped in fear before hiding behind Chuuya cowardly. Chuuya finally knew why when a group of 5 men came into his sight. A  cigarette in hand, one of the man dropped it and stomped onto the cigarette. "There you are...Sorry sir but that kid's mine." Chuuya couldn't hear the annoyance in the man's tone. Feeling the boy shivering behind him, Chuuya sighed. He shouldn't be protecting weaklings since he was from the mafia. It would bring bad reputation to the organisation. However, Chuuya wasn't the type to leave a child in an alley way with 5 'scary' -looking man.

Noticing that Chuuya wasn't budging, the man frowned as he raised the bat in his hand. Without hesitation, he came rushing towards the ginger who wore a smirk the whole time.  Chuuya was entirely convinced that this man was an imbecile who actually dared to attack him head on. With one jump, Chuuya was in mid air, with the boy clinging onto Chuuya's coat like it costed his life. The man on the ground looked shocked but his shock face turned into a scared one when he saw Chuuya coming back down. Not in a slow pace but a fast one. Throwing his coat up to the air, he landed on the man perfectly, crushing him to the ground in the process. A crack appeared on the ground. The rest of the man looked like they wanted to help their leader when they all slowly raised their bats but ended up running away when they saw Chuuya glare. The coat Chuuya threw into the air, still with the boy clinging onto it, came slowly floating back to the ground, the boy coming down with it. When his two feet touched the ground, he managed to balance himself. The boy!s grip loosened on Chuuya's coat as he stared, afraid, at the man on the ground. Chuuya noticed that as he took the boy's hand in his and made his way out of the alley way. The boy obediently followed, leaving the dead body there, blood slowly spreading itself on the concrete floor.
