The alarm to my house went off. John and I both jumped.

He quickly wrapped a arm around me, and pulled me closer to his chest. If that was even possible.

I heard footsteps, more like boots, walking down the hall. Great I'm gonna die, and I can't even say bye to anyone. I would have said bye to John, but I'm to scared to make a sound or move.

"You'll be okay. I'll protect you." he whispered in my ear. I pushed my head into his chest as the sound came closer. I was on the verge of crying, but I kept them held back.

We both jumped when my door slammed open. I felt John lift his head up.

"Hunter?" He questioned.

"Who are you?" I heard Hunter snap. Wait why is Hunter here? Isn't he in the hospital. Wait.. Don't trust anyone, because they aren't who they really say they are.

I lifted my head up.

"Why are you here, at my house Hunter? Your suppose to be in the hospital. Your sick. Plus you broke up with me. So just leave." I snapped.

"Not until you tell me who he is." He snapped back.

"My names John, and Jade is my problem now, not yours." His voice was harsh, but also trying to get the point across.

Both mine and Hunters mouth dropped. Hunters eyes filled with anger as he looked at me.

"Your dating him!" He screamed pointing at Luke.

"No!"

"Then why did he just say your his problem now and not mine? What is it Jade!"

"Why are you not in the hospital! I just left there and your here!"

"Don't change the subject." He growled.

"Fine! John is here because you dumped me. I'm worried I'll loose you, and I have no one to go to! Jordan isn't nice, Mia didn't reply to my text, and derek, I don't know where he is! But I've been here worried sick about you, scared to death I'll love the love of my life! And John is comforting me. Is that what you need to hear Hunter!"

"Your such a brat."

"I'm the brat? I'm the brat! Your kidding right?" I was already on my feet in his face yelling at him. "you lied about being in the hospital! You lied about everything! I bet you lied about being sick, and stopping your music career! I bet you the doctors are playing along with your prank! I bet they didn't give you treatment and medicine because this is fake! I swear Hunter Easton Hayes, if this is all fake I'll never, ever talk to you again, and I'll spill over social media that your just a fake coward!" My breathing was fast from yelling.

"Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't. Maybe I was trying to see if you were a loyal girlfriend and wouldn't cheat on me, and protect me, and help me. I broke up with you because I was hoping that you wouldn't go after another guy. but you did." I saw the hurt in his eyes. I really feel bad now.

"But you left me crying Hunter! Why? Why did you do this? You said forever, and I counted on it. I felt horrible and I knew no one would be here for me, but John. He's only a friend, trust me."

"Why can I trust you? Both of you were in the same bed. How would I know you two didn't kiss or something worse?"

"I'm not like that!" I raised my voice again. I looked over at John, and he was typing away on his phone.

"I'm not like that." I whispered before running out of my room with tears down my face.

I heard footsteps after me, but I kept running. I ran straight out my front door.

"Jade stop!" Once I was similar with the voice, I stopped. I turned around to see John. Yep, I was right.

"What do you want?" I yelled.

"Calm down, please. He's in there all upset and torn now. He didn't realize it would be this far."

"He humiliated me John! What do you expect."

"Well he didn't think it would be this bad."

"Are you on his side?" I was hoping he'd say no to that.

"I'm not on any side. But your both in the wrong. He shouldn't have lied, and you shouldn't have gone after another boy." I hated how his voice was calm.

"I didn't go after another guy John! I didn't go after you! Your my friend, and you are the only one here for me!"

"Just please say you'll forgive him." he huffed.

"Why should I? He could have done anything else, and I wouldn't have cared, but yet he wants me, and his fans to think he's dying. Everyone is going to be so mad at him, just like me."

"I don't know Jade," he ran his hand through his hair. "Just go talk to him.

I sighed. I knew I wasn't gonna get out of this.
