Chapter 24

I took my keys from my purse and unlocked the door to my apartment. Since Hunters car is in the drive way, it must means he's here. I stepped inside onto something smooth other than my wood floor. I looked down to see a red carpet with rose pedals and candles on both sides.

My mouth dropped in awe. What is he doing? I followed the red carpet slowly. i walked into the hallway, and down to my bed room door.

The roses and candles end just a inch away from my door. I opened it and no light lit the room except six candles by my bed. And on my bed sat Hunter.

I put my hand over my mouth in shock and awe. What is he really doing? It kept playing over in my head, that question.

"Hunter. What is this?"

"Something special. I want you to know how much you mean to me, and that Im really sorry. I need you, and I can't live without you. Your the best thing that has ever happened to me. Ever since the first time we met, till now. I know you hated me in the beginning because of what I did to you. but I'm sorry for that to. Even back then I knew I shouldn't have let you go. Then in the football field when you said yes to being my girlfriend, I never wanted you to leave. Through all these breakups, and lies, somewhere in between we found love, hope, peace, and a bond that will never be broken. I want you to be my last hug, kiss, date, and goodbye. I want to have my own family with you. So this is why..."

He paused for a second, and pulled something out from his pocket. Well more like a tiny blue velvet box. My eyes were filled with tears of joy, and i swear at this moment, time is on slow motion.

He got down on one knee, and slowly opened the box looked at me in the eyes.

"Jade Sims, my favorite girlfriend, and my soul mate, will you do the honer of marrying me?"

The tears slipped down my cheek as I shook my head yes.

"Yes. Yes Hunter, I will marry you."

He stood up, and slid the ring onto my finger. I wrapped my arms around him. I started to cry. This is probably the best moment of my life.

I pulled back, and kissed him. I love him so much.

"I love you." Hunter said into. My ear after we pulled apart.

"I love you too."

Then all the memories came flooding back.

Flashback:

I watched as he came back to me in the field from his moms car. He sat down beside me.

Then he said the words I never though I'd hear.

"Jade will you go out with me?"

I of course said yes.

He brought up the brunette that was sitting beside me.

"Hello. what's your name?" he asked putting the mic near her to answer.

"Juliette."

"Pretty name." he smirked. "what song you choose?"

"Umm.." She looked through the list that was handed to her. there must have been a lot cause it took her a while before she finally picked one.

"All you ever." she said.

Hunter sang. she listens and smiled.

He did this a few more times before he said one final girl. my girl.
