Chapter 6

Hunter finally showed up at his truck. I already buckled up, waiting for him.

"Babe, you could have said that you were ready." We both laughed, and he stared the engine.

"So where you taking me?" I smiled at him.

"I was thinking lunch, then somewhere else that's fun. It's a surprise."

"Why can't you just tell me?" I pouted.

All he did was smile. I rolled my eyes and just let the ride drag on.

Once we pulled up to McDonald's, Hunter ordered the food through the drive through. After that he told me well eat at the special place.

Another ten minute drive, before we reached the destination. The amazing beach.

Hunter opened the car door for me, also holding our food. Once I got out I also offered to help carry come of it.

"So the beach Huh?" I smiled at him.

"Yep. Hope you like it. I know it's not the best, but it's something for us to do."

"Thanks. How long are you here for?"

"The rest of today and tomorrow morning. Then I have to go back to the studio. I just hate how we never get anytime together anymore. But about you wanting a new boyfriend..." He trailed off, after we sat down on a bench to eat.

"I thought you would have forgotten about me. I saw you with all the girls, and.. I felt like you didn't care for me anymore." I took a bite out of my cheeseburger, then a sip of my hi-c Orange drink.

"I wouldn't do that."

The rest of the lunch date was in complete silence. I just thought about anything and everything. Once we both finished, I got up and threw the trash away.

"Wanna walk on the beach?" Hunter asked.

I nodded my head. He took my hand in his, and led me down the beach. It was really nice because it wasn't that hot, and the waves crashing made everything better. But to my surprise, there weren't many people.

"I love you, I know I haven't said that in a while." The boy beside me said. It took me off guard actually.

"I love you to. I always will." I kissed him on his cheek.

"Hey, I have a new song for you to hear. I've been waiting to let you hear it before singing it on tour. Well because you have a good idea about my songs, and such.."

When we got back to his truck, he pulled out his guitar from the bed. We both were sitting on the tailgate.

I listened to him as he started to strum.

Tell me where did we go wrong. If it's all good intentions, why are we scared of living. Yeah the weight of the world is hard enough to hold already why does it got to be so heavy. Baby it's the little things, maybe we can change the world, one heart at a time.

Just the first part, and chorus, I love it. It's really good. I listen to the rest of it.

When he finished, he sat his guitar down, and looked at me.

"I love it. It's really good. The fans will love it." I smiled.

"Really?"

"Yes, I'm sure." I laughed.

Hunter pulled me into a tight hug. Again, every time I'm in his arms, I feel safe and happy. He kissed me on my lips, and I instantly smiled. when he pulled back, I pecked him on the lips three times, then laughed.

"Your such a tease." He kissed me again. "Hey Jade, since I'm only here for tonight, and tomorrow in leaving.. Would you want to stay with me tonight? Or I could stay with you? Just so we can have more time together?"

"Sure. My place?"

"Yeah."

We hopped off the back of his tailgate, and walked to get back into the truck. Hunter started it, and we left to head back to my house.

Okay I would have updated yesterday, but I was gone the whole day, literally. from 8 in the morning, till 7:30 at night. So I didn't have time to write. But here Ya go. it's bad I know... but I'll try to fix it Better, tomorrow.
