Rowena says, "There's only one thing you could possibly do for me that I can't, at least presently, do for myself. Kill my son." Liz's confused and says, "Your son? Who's your son?" Rowena smiles and says, "I think you know him by the name of Crowley." Liz slightly widens her eyes, and she says, "Crowley? Your--" Rowena cuts her off and says, "Yes, deary. I'm your mother." Liz can't believe Rowena's her mother and she says, "Wow, I can't believe your my mother. Wait, why do you want Crowley dead?" Rowena says, "Because he cares too much about those Winchesters more than me. He's expecting it from me. Already has his stinking minions on high alert. So, will you do it?" Liz says, "Yes." Liz will do anything to get the Mark of Cain off Dean and if she has to kill Crowley to do it so be it. Rowena smiles and says, "Great." Liz says, "First things first-- can you read the book?" Rowena smiles and says, "Of course I can. I'm likely the only witch alive who can understand such old, dark magic. Just not in its present form." Liz says, "What does that mean?" As Rowena goes to speak, Liz's phone vibrates and she sees it's a text from Dean saying, "Hitting a vamp nest in Tulsa. Join if you want." Rowena says, "Now... I can't read the book in its present form, but there is someone who could. Nadya. Grand Coven witch." Liz says, "Where do I find her?" Rowena says, "You don't. She's dead. Long ago. Murdered for her life's work. Her decryption formulas, her codex... that you can find. Bring me Nadya's codex, and I'll... break this text right open and give you your cure." Liz says, "Where do I look?" Rowena says, "If I were you, I'd start at home." Liz raises her brow at Rowena and Rowena continues to say, "Who do you think murdered Nadya and stole the codex in the first place?" Liz realizes and says, "The Men of Letters." Later, Liz goes to meet up with Dean in Tulsa and finds him covered with blood and a bunch of dead vamps around the lot. Liz says, "Dean." Dean looks at her and says, "Hey." Liz says, "What happened? What is this?" Dean smiles proudly and says, "I know, right? Six vamps. Solo. I think that's gotta be a personal best." Liz scoffs and says, "You couldn't have waited?!" Dean says, "For what?" Liz exasperatedly says, "For what?" Dean says, "Oh, come on, babe. I can handle it. I did handle it." Liz says, "What if you couldn't?" Dean says, "But I did. It's done. Come on, babe. It's the only way I can take the edge off. I'm sorry. I don't like always like to wait around for you or Sam, especially with you looking at me like that all the time." Liz says, "Like what?" Dean says, "Like I'm some sort of a-a-a diseased killer puppy. You know what, babe? I'm sweaty and I'm covered in vamp juice. Can we just talk about this later? I'd like to get back to the bunker, get my buzz on, and, uh, you know, pass out watching "Speed 2: Cruise Control." We cool?" Dean walks away and Liz shakes her head and follows after him.
