Liz is in the library on her computer on the phone with Castiel and she says, "All right, well, just keep me posted, okay? Yeah, you got it. Wait, Cass. You there? Hey, thanks." Liz hangs up and sees egg-white egg omelets made by Dean and Dean sits in front of her. Liz says, "You made egg-white omelets?" Dean says, "Yeah. Breakfast of champions you know, if you're a dork like you." Liz looks down at her watch and she says, "And she slept past 7:00?" Dean says, "Yeah, well, until we get answers on this Mark of Cain, I am on a 12-step program not to backslide." Liz nods impressed and she says, "12 steps?" Dean says, "Yeah. Hey, if Cain found a way to live with it after going dark side, then I just got to find a way to keep it in check. So... I haven't had a drink in a week, eight hours of rack time every night, and... now this masterpiece." Liz furrows her brows and says, "That's only three steps." Dean says, "Shut up and eat." Liz smiles and shakes her head and digs in and hums and says, "Mm, this is delicious." Dean chews the food and says, "This is crap." Liz softly laughs and Dean groans and says, "God. Soon as we get rid of this demonic tramp stamp, I am back on the booze, burgers, and... more booze. Tell me you got something." Liz sheepishly smiles and she shakes her head. Later, Sam joins Liz and Dean in the library looking for any more lore on the Mark of Cain. Liz then finds something hard to believe and she says, "What the hell?" Dean says, "Cain or Crowley?" Liz says, "Charlie." Sam says, "Is she back from Oz? She didn't call?" Liz waves her hand over and Dean and Sam walk over to Liz and look over her shoulder at her computer. Liz plays the security footage of Charlie beating up a guy. Dean says, "What the hell am I looking at?" Liz says, "So, you know, I was looking into the news, checking for anything weird, right? I found this story about a torture vic. Apparently, some kid videotaped this at his next-door neighbor's house." Dean says, "What are you saying, Charlie tortured someone? Our Charlie? Wouldn't hurt a hobbit, practically sparkles?" Dean tries to call Charlie and she doesn't answer. Liz says, "The guy she went all Jack Bauer on-- Uh, Peter Harper. District Attorney in Topeka. According to this article, he wasn't the only person in town that was hit. Uh, a court stenographer was assaulted the night before." Sam says, "Well, you know, Charlie wouldn't go off on someone without a reason." Liz says, "Yeah, I wouldn't think so either, but look at the video." Dean says, "Oh, I'm looking at it. But you know what we do, taken out of context, it doesn't look that much different. She could be hunting. Why don't we go talk to this asshat and see what's going on?"
