"Why does Zander hate me?" I asked Hailey.
"He doesn't hate you-"
"He hates me."
We were sitting near the corner of the room, next to the main amplifier. Milly walked in and immediately recognized me.
"You! Name-guessing lady! Guess you decided to join the club after all." She said, waving to me.
"Wait, you two know each other?" Hailey asked.
"Um y-yeah, w-we know each other." I mumbled.
Zander walked back in, still mad, Luke followed close behind him.
"Hey Kaelynn!" He said.
"Kaelynn? My name's Ken!" I said, disappointed. I thought Luke had remembered me.
"Oh, s-sorry." He apologized.
"Don't be sorry, Luke." Zander said.
"See, he hates me!" I whispered to Hailey.
