Today was the big day. Jimins dance recital was in less than an hour. The dancers rushed back stage getting their fits together and makeup touched up.
His solo was last so he wasn't feeling too overwhelmed . He was confident he would do well. With so much going on he hadn't checked his phone since he got there.
Ava currently was home getting ready to go to jimins recital. She would go before it was over.
She got him some flowers and favorite chocolate the day before and wanted to surprise him with it. Jimin told her he would take them out to dinner but she wanted to surprise him.
Not quite sure when exactly the recital was going to end she just figured she should get an uber there a little later.
After some time goes by the uber waits for her outside.
She was so excited to congratulate jimin. She always wished she could see him dance. Of course when they were younger he would wear bright vibrant colors to perform for her. But it wasn't enough for her and just made her upset, so just being there for him was enough, which he always told her.
Her location was turned off so it would really be a surprise.
After jimins performance everyone clapped for him and the other dancers.
"Hey, a few of us are going for some drinks. You coming?" A dancer from his class asks.
"Nah, promised a dinner to a friend tonight."
"Ahh, come on jimin! You literally just had a bad ass solo performance. A couple drinks wouldn't hurt. We promise to get you home safe to go out for your dinner." Another dancer says. She gives him a pleading look.
He ponders for a second or two. "Alright alright. A few drinks. Thats all." They all cheer and go to clean up and change.
Jimin looks down at his phone and doesn't see any calls or text from ava. Maybe she'll be fine for a while he thought. He texts her that he will be home a bit late but dinner was still on.
"You were amazingg. I heard you were going out with your friends." Gia walks up to him handing him a bouquet of flowers and kissses his cheek wrapping her arms around his neck.
"Thanks G." He smiles. "Yeah, nothing too big."
"You gonna come back to my place after?" She asks giving him seductive eyes.
It was tempting with gia looking really good right now but he knew he shouldn't.
"Hell yeah." He smirks and kisses her.
By the time ava arrives everyone is leaving. She sits and waits outside on a bench beside the doors where people are coming out of. They we're going to their cars and having small conversations before getting in and leaving.
She decides to listen to so music as she waited.
It seems like forever passes by and the parking lot is quiet now. The only thing that could be heard is the tress rustling in the wind and birds in a nest near by.
It was now eight o'clock. Ava sighs and decides to just go back home.
Did he forget about me? He didn't even call me.
Her phone never rang or received any text messages.
Before she requests her uber she hears a rumble. "Oh no,not now." She hadn't brought an umbrella and had no clue it would be raining today.
She didn't know of she was under a roof or not but she hoped and prayed there was. The rain started to come down a minute later.
Getting ready to request her uber her phone dies. She was sitting out there for so long that she didn't pay attention to her dying phone. It wasn't fully charged before she left.
