Trigger Warning: Torture?
***
Clem laid chained against a wall. It wasn't something she wasn't used to; however she was growing tired of being in these sticky situations. Shortly after dragging her out Badger had placed a bag over her head, she figured so she couldn't see where she was going.
She was led away from where she had once been, the walk was anything but short. Next thing she knew she was thrown behind a locked door, the bag was still placed over her head when they left leaving her in the dark on where she could be.
One thing to go by was the smell, it was rancid, reeked of death. Quickly she figured out that wherever she did not want to be. She had lost track of how long she was in there. The small light she could see she figured came from some sort of window. From the direction of the light she knew it was coming from the left side of her, and the window was placed high up on the wall.
She couldn't easily get to it should she find a way out of her constraints like last time.
She cursed herself for being captured so easily, had she been a bit better her and Mariana would be at a great disadvantage by now.
Time ticked away, and Clem sat alone. She had closed her eyes, beginning to dose off until she felt the hairs on the back of her neck stand at attention, a sign that she had learned not to ignore years ago. A figure was standing in front of her.
The bag was ripped off her head, revealing the dirtied clothes of Badger. He stood smiling down at her, mouth moving but no words that Clem could clearly make out.
Whatever he was talking about she figured it was horseshit anyways.
He lifted her to her feet, holding her in a tight grip. She tried breaking free but with her hands bound but was proving to be more difficult than she had anticipated. He grabbed her from behind, his hot breathing tickling the back of her neck. Her skin crawled as she was lifted off her feet and carried toward a metal slab that had been in the middle of the room.
Panicked she threw her head back smacking the back of her head into Badger nose. His grip faltered for a second and she could imagine he was screaming curses at her. She fell to the ground catching herself on her feet.
She turned to face him about to attack when two unfamiliar people came rushing into the room. They easily hoisted her off the ground and slammed her hard against the metal slab. Her back stung, and she yelped in pain.
Everything was happening too fast and before she knew it was confined to the slab, laid out and bound by her hands and feet.
This is making escaping more difficult.
Badger looked at her with blood oozing from his nose. "Tough bitch, still got some fight in you I see." He wiped the thick fluid off his face, smearing it on his nose. "We'll see how long this lasts."
He stood over her, "Joan needs answers and I'm inclined to believe you'll have them for me." He stroked a piece of hair from Clem's face. "Even if I have to beat 'em out of you."
"I should kill you for what you've done but Joan wants you alive." His eyes narrowed as he looked at her, pure disdain staring back at her.
"Here you come marching through our gates held captive by the leader of Prescott and his henchmen, followed by the little weasel girl that stole from us and you think we wouldn't be a bit suspicious."
Clem caught as many words as she could, trying to keep up with what he was saying, however the bastard barely opened his mouth, and that left her piecing together his words like a guessing game.
