Chaper 11

We all started eating. I saw the boys glancing at me every now and then. What was wrong with them?
Anyways,I finished my food and waited for everyone to finish.

I sat down in the lounge area. We had two different living rooms. So in order to differentiate it, I named one lounge and living room. I don't care!

The lounge was filled with history pictures. My siblings and I had spent a week decorating this place. There were pictures of Queen Anne, Queen Mary and more. The couches were deep pink. The place was painted wooden brown and it was associated with the balcony so you could see outside. The atmosphere was really comfortable and peaceful. We were all sitting in the lounge now.

Alexander and Ethan were sitting by me, chatting with me about random things and stuff. I actually loved their company. Ethan was a jerk,...maybe just a little. But he was really fun.

"So you see, it wasn't a big prank at all" Ethan shrugged next to me.
"Are you serious right now"my voice was laced with shock.
"No big deal"Alexander said.
"You pranked your teacher!! And you are behaving as if nothing had ever happened. I would be dead by now" I breathed. They laughed. Wait! They laughed? They Frikin laughed?

"Are you guys serious right now?"I whispered pushing them.
"No Ella, hahaha "Alexander laughed till tears fell from his eyes.

"Do you guys think it's funny? You could get detention or worse, suspension" I glared at them.
"Haha"they continued laughing attracting their parents' attention . They smiled at me, probably thinking I made them feel at home. Like,.I just wanted to slap them right now.

"Dessert" I heard Aunty Rose, Hannah's Mom call with Aunty Jasmine(the one I suspected to be a witch) on her right. We all got up and walked to the resting area, where you can have a big view of the city.

When we got there and took our respective seats,I saw Hannah enter with the plates. My parents continued their conversation. Samuella was talking to Andrea and Daniella was talking to Xander who I observed, pinched her nose every now and then. He must have found Daniella cute. Alexander, Ethan and I were talking but I was glancing at Hannah every now and then. Hannah made advances towards the table and 'accidentally' tripped falling perfectly into Xander's arms. I knew what I had to do then
"Oh my God, Hannah"I exclaimed a little drawing the attention of my parents.
" Don't worry. I'm okay"she smiled shyly. Eii this girl can act! She looked down the whole time not daring to face Xander.
"Let me help you" Xander requested. Haha! I saw Hannah nod. Even thought I couldn't see her true emotions from her face, I knew she was jumping inside. She tried to raise herself up but 'accidentally'feel in Xander's arms.
"Geez, let me help" I got up to pull her clinging hands away from him. Her face was flushed bright red because she was fair. She looked like a tomato. Haha!
"Thank you"she said as exited. My parents quietly turned their heads and continued their conversation whereas Xander continued his conversation.

Hannah later came back with a big tray containing cupcakes, cakes , biscuits, juices and ice creams too. She walked to Alexander who was sitting next to me. She started removing the desserts from the tray. I watched as Alexander offered to help.

I didn't know which was intentional. Either her touching Alexander's hands 'accidentally' as they put the desserts down or her shifting closer to him. I stifled a giggle as she blinked her eyelashes a little too furiously to show that she has eyelashes or what?

I giggled. No, I laughed. I'm sorry, I couldn't help it. She was so funny. Hahaha! Hannah raised her perfect eyebrows at me and glared at me from where I was. That was always one thing I admired about her. Her eyebrows. It was shaped so well. She walked past me 'accidentally'stepping and falling a little on Ethan . Okay, this was getting annoying. I had to alert her. She looked okay but she seemed desperate. I know I'm the one who gave her the instructions but she overdid it. I lifted my dress a little and adjusted my hair.
"Excuse me "I said to Alexander and Ethan. They both watched as I walked out with Hannah.

"What was that?" I questioned Hannah as soon as we got to the kitchen.
"What? I was just doing what you asked me to do!"she had an irritated look.
"It was fine but.....shoot ...you overdid it!"I whisper-yelled at her.

"Girls!" Aunty Rose called.
"Ella, what are you doing here!"she asked.
"Erhhmm Aunt nothing"I smiled awkwardly glancing at Hannah with a 'try and make the act natural' look before walking away. I glanced at the enormous clock on the wall at the hallway and froze. It was 9 already. Now that I knew that it was late, I become so bored and tired and that air conditioned lounge wasn't going to help me either. But who was I ? Daddy would ask me numerous questions and I was already tired.

I entered the room and found out that they had already started eating. Without me! Anyway, I didn't care. I wasn't even planing to eat either. I had lost my appetite long time. As sat myself down, I placed my hands on my thighs.

"Won't you eat?" Ethan asked.
"Na-"Just then I remembered what mummy had told me months ago.

"Not eating with guests in your own house is rude"

"Actually, I think I will go for the ice cream"I was in no mood to eat but I had to eat for my guests. Who was I?

As we finished our desserts, we all got up to leave. I saw Daddy really happy as he shook hands with the Martinez. Hmph!

"Hey, can I have your number before we go" Xander asked. Ethan and Alexander looked really surprised.
"Xander, you've never asked a girl for her number before. What happened?"Alexander whispered jokingly.

"I have ears"I rolled my eyes. I wasn't interested in any of them honestly. I mean, they were good looking and all but I don't have time.

"So..."Xander started but I cut him off.

"Not interested "I held my hand high and turned around to go. I heard them wowing at me. I'm sure no one has rejected them before.

"Hey it's just for friends" Ethan called.
"And not what you are thinking" Alexander added. What was I thinking?

"You said , you wanted my number. I don't want to give it to you and it's not what you think I think Alex."I turned to face them.
"My DMS are full. I don't need any other friends but..my friends would love to have your number"I continued and finished with..
"Besides, I'm rarely with my phone. I only use it when it's necessary." And walked off with my family who were escorting the Mr. and Mrs Martinez.

"Bye"I waved at them smiling. The boys smiled at me but I could see their ego was hurt. Serves them right!

I walked to the exit escorting the rest.
"See ya!"I waved at them and they waved back smiling before driving off into the dark.

"Why did you think Xander chose you to escort him to the washroom instead of me"I heard John's voice behind me. I could feel his evil and teasing smirk.
"John, I'm not in the mood" I pushed past him and entered the house. I rushed to my room and closed the door. I removed my gown and removed my hair accessories. I stared at the mirror for sometime, letting all my released curls fall on my face. I couldn't do my night studies because of the meeting. I left Aunty Lisa and Hannah downstairs. I was tired. I opened the door to my bathroom and had a quick shower. I brushed my teeth and then wore my pajamas. I didn't remember anything that happened after. All I knew was I had fallen on the bed and ......
