Aunt Lisa rolled her eyes at my comment.
"Now will you help me pick the foods to the table"she pointed her napkin to delicacies on the counter.
"Of course "
"Call Hannah for me"
"Ok"I said as I picked up a bowl full of stew.
I entered the dining hall, placed the bowl on the table and lifted my head to stable my voice before calling.
"Hannah! Hannah! Han-"
"Geez I'm coming. You are shouting like a crocodile who needs urgent help in delivery"she hit her head in annoyance as she emerged out of the maid's,oh gosh, auntie's quarters.
But wait! Hannah looks different today. She had tied her 'natural hair' into a ponytail with a big bun. She had added gloss to her lips to make them shiny ..I guess. And she was wearing the earings I gifted her on her birthday, enhancing her beauty.
She was wearing a blue knee length straight dress with beautiful flower embroidery complimenting her fair skin. She had black shoes on which, made her big black eyes stand out. Gosh, she was beautiful to be honest. But she should stop that Cinderella's imagination of hers.
"Eii, Charle, na this dress, what's the meaning. Have you finally found your Prince Charming" I asked as I moved back a little, quite dramatically.
"Oh Ella stop that, some guests are coming tonight" she stomped her foot on the ground .
"Really, and wait.. you don't usually dress like this to attend guests, why now? Which guests by the way? Are they staying here? When are they leaving? What are they here for? Are they daddy's friends?"I asked numerous questions because I was surprised.. okay I was not actually surprised cause daddy brings a lot of guests usually. I just feel uncomfortable, always having to be at your best behaviour when they come around.
"Relax with the questions"she threw her hands at me.
"Firstly, the guests are not ordinary as they are from America. Second, they are your daddy's friends of course. And lastly, there are boys our age coming and I heard they are so hot so I wanted to shoot my shot. Or what do you think? Should I wait till a boy comes to me? Common, Ella you are the best relationship advisor. "She spoke as she just place her hands on her bust. I was both shocked and surprised, not like there are any necessary difference between these two words but, a relationship advisor? Like seriously? And she even added 'best' to it. Really? Maybe, because I saved her once, just once by advising her to stay away from a certain boy and when she paid heed to my advice, she actually found out the boy was a full time, certified jerk. I looked like I was learning something new about myself.
"Talk please"I looked at her anxious face and chuckled.
"Like seriously, boys? Hasn't your mom told you to stay away from boys "I asked as I gazed at her from top to down.
"I don't care. From what I heard, they are really filthy rich. So, yeah"She shrugged.
"Any advice "she looked at me, probably pleading.  I know Hannah will not listen to me again unless I give her advice concerning relationship. She's young, just 15, turning 16 November.
"Okay. Just be yourself. Don't push yourself to them. It will look like you are desperate for their attention. Also,  I don't know whether this will work but 'accidentally' bump into one of them trying not to spill anything in the process. Yes! Look frustrated and confused with yourself anytime you bump into someone."I said.
"Hannah! Ella!"Aunt Lisa called from the kitchen.
"Coming"we shouted back in unison.
"Last thing," I said holding my index finger out to her.
"Look normal when talking to them. Don't! I mean Don't look awestruck by their beauty or something. Be like you are attending to a normal guest. They probably know that girls gush over them cause their 'hot' as you call it but make yourself different by just acting normal. Bring their pride down. Trust me, it works"I winked at her. I just gave her a full chapter of a Wattpad story. Haha! But she mustn't know anytime now.
"Won't you go and change?"she asked me as she seized me up and down, her eyes lingering on the Ellashofort design. But I got a matching one for her cause she loved it.
"Let me help you guys. The guests can wait"I said as we both walked to the kitchen.
