The dark-haired girl looked in amazement at the one who called himself Papa Emeritus IV.  His manner was too old-fashioned at first glance, until he continued his story.

“I hope this idiot Sodo didn’t scare you,” Papa looked at the guy with mock anger.

“Yes, yes, she wanted to break my face, so who should be afraid of, then her,” Sodo unceremoniously pointed his finger at the girl.

The girl just rolled her eyes and smiled.

"In general, as you understand," - after ten seconds of silence, Emeritus continued, - "this short jerk is called Sodo, you can also call him Dewdrop or Dew," - That same undersized aggressive person threw a stone at Papa, but didn’t hit him, - "I don’t have to  be so officially called, for you, mia cara, I'm just Cardinal Copia, shorten the name as you like.  And these seven will introduce themselves, I, unfortunately, have business.  Swiss and Sunshine for seniors.  See you soon, mia cara," - with these words, he quickly left the room.

It was only now that the girl decided to look at her pursuers - dark, highly detailed costumes, high black boots with stars on both and a black incomprehensible mask - it looked like a gas mask with a cutout for mouth and nose, a pair of hoses and small horns on it.

"So .. I'm Swiss," - the first to break the awkward silence was a thin guy of medium height with a snow-white smile, approached the girl and shook her hand lightly.

“It's nice to meet the second adequate person among all those with whom I already met,” the girl turned to Sodo and showed him the middle finger, unnoticed by everyone.

“Go to hell,” Sodo cursed, and Swiss laughed.

“This is Aether,” Swiss pointed to the big guy, who only nodded in response, “These are Cirrus, Cumulus and Sunshine – the only girls among us eight,” the girls waved their hands in a friendly way and smiled, “this tall guy is Mountain,” he came up and  shook hands, "and this is Rain, he is the most calm and laconic among all, and also the complete opposite of this jerk Sodo," - hearing his name, Dew kicked Swiss in the shoulder.

Riana looked curiously at Rain, who was looking at the stone floor, and for a second their eyes met, but the guy awkwardly looked down.  This seemingly completely normal behavior for a shy person hooked the girl with something, but she tried not to think about it.

“It's nice to meet each of you,” Ri replied with a smile, to which Cirrus and Cumulus smiled in relief, “but I still wonder why I'm here and why it's so important that you threatened to force me out of the room.  And also, what does the signature "N.G." mean?  And where did the text of the note go?  And why were you following me?"

"Threatened?"  - Aether raised his voice in surprise for the first time tonight.

He had a slightly rough, but very pleasant tone of voice.

"Sodo... well, you're a moron," - the meaning of the girl's words had already reached Swiss, "Ri, what was written in the paper?"

“You have a choice, either you voluntarily go to a meeting with us, or we will force you to go to a meeting, and believe me, getting into your room will not be an impossible task for us,” Riana chanted.

“Dear, don’t pay attention,” Cumulus said in a sweet clear voice and squeezed the girl in a strong hug, “Sodo is a complete idiot, when he led you here, did he at least not touch you, didn’t offend you?",  Cumulus' voice grew concerned.

“If you don’t take into account that she fell out the window and I caught her, then no, I didn’t touch her,” Dew said with a sneer.

“Let's go inside the church, as for me, this is not the best place for a long and complicated conversation,” Cirrus suggested, grabbed Riana by her right arm and, together with Cumulus, led her into the building.
