A few minutes later, a breathless girl burst into the hallway, went up to the Papa and stood next to him.  There were only ghouls and Cardinal Copia in the room, Sister Imperator had not yet arrived.

"Did you run here?" Cardi began to peer into Ri's face, waiting for an answer.

“I was afraid to be late,” the girl answered a little quieter, since Sister Imperator opened the door at that very moment and entered the hallway.

"You should not engage in physical activity," Papa Emeritus IV reproachfully looked at the girl.

“Okay, I won’t do it again,” she decided to quickly change the subject and said in a whisper, “I need to talk to Sister Imperator.”

"So what's the problem?  Will she eat you?" Swiss got into the conversation.

"I'm gone.  But she may well send Rain to Hell," the dark-haired girl answered worriedly.

"Don't be afraid, let's go together," Papa, not tolerating objections, grabbed his girlfriend by the arm and led her to the Sister Imperator, who was looking at something on her phone.

“Cardi,” she looked away from the screen, looked lovingly at Papa, and then turned to the girl, “Riana. Something happened?  The sisters of sin will arrive any minute."

"Nothing.  I wanted to say that Rain is not well, so he is not here now," Riana said and felt the piercing gaze of the Sister Imperator on herself, from which she became uncomfortable and wanted to fall into the ground.

"Okay, I heard you.  May he recover then.  But I have another question for you, and more than one," her voice became hard, "why is the ghoul warning you about this, and not another ghoul or Cardi?  I've noticed that you've become very close to the ghouls lately.  Friendship is fine.  But not relationships and love.  You should not forget that they are far from human.  They could  kill you.  You have lost your vigilance and you will suffer from it.  Marriages between ghouls and humans have never led to anything good.  The number of these situations can be counted on the fingers of both hands.  And believe me, in each of them there was a sad ending for a person," she did not have time to read the whole notation in full, as the doors opened, "at the end of the day you will come to my office," the woman said and, leaving the confused Ri and no less confused Cardinal  in the middle of the room, went to meet the newly arrived sisters of sin.

“We'll talk later,” Copia whispered in the girl's ear, in the same way leading her by the elbow back to the crowd of ghouls.

"Welcome home!" Sister Imperator greeted the girls entering the room.

Riana expected to see adult women, at least forty years old, in monastic robes, but to her surprise, the crowd consisted entirely of young girls, many of whom were dressed in bright clothes.

"You should get acquainted with one new person in the church," the woman turned to the sisters of sin, and then pointed with her hand at Ri standing near the ghouls, "this is Riana.  She lives here in the church."

Absolutely all the girls turned their eyes to the dark-haired one.  Most of them were students, but the rest just glanced at her boredly and turned away.

“Now you all should start preparing for the festive dinner,” Sister Imperator addressed the arrivals today, and then turned to Ree, “I think it would not hurt you to join them.

The sisters of sin, chatting merrily with each other, began to disperse to their rooms, the dark-haired girl dejectedly trudged after them, because she did not expect that she would have to spend the day with people whom she did not even know and who clearly did not burn with the desire to get to know her.  From annoyance, the girl wanted to hit the wall with her fist, but two sisters of sin who had caught up with her brought her out of depressing thoughts.
