Ch 8

Riana was woken up by the annoying ringing of her alarm clock on her phone.  Her eyes were stuck together from fatigue, so only on the third attempt the girl was able to find the coveted circle on the screen and send it to the right with her finger.  Finally, the ringing stopped.  Ree lay in bed a little longer, but she couldn't sleep.  At least, because thoughts about studying were swarming in head head.  Today is the last day of school this week, which means she could spend the next two days with Rain.  By the way, about him.  The girl jumped up on the bed.  The last thing she remembered was how they sat and chatted on a bench in the garden.  Then a failure, and now she woke up here.

She decided for the time being to go to the ghouls, and before the university, drop into the house and change clothes.  The girl quickly found her cardigan, put it on, brought herself into a more or less tolerable appearance, although after nightly adventures it was difficult, because the bags under her eyes stood out very much, and left the room.  There she also faced nose to nose with the whole company of ghouls and the Papa as the leader.

"Oh, mia cara, you woke up, we were just walking towards you.  How did you sleep in the new place?"

"Excellent, thank you", - the girl found Rain in the crowd with her eyes and winked at him faintly.

"Oh, I'm glad!  Then why don't you join us for breakfast?"

“I’m happy,” Riana smiled sincerely, and then added, “hmm .. and Sister Imperator will be?"

“No, mia cara, but still don’t be afraid of her,” he laughed merrily, “she may seem evil, but believe me, she just wishes us all well.”

“Yeah, is that why she wants to sacrifice Ri?”  - Sodo said with fun in his voice and immediately received a slap from the Papa.

"Don't liste..." Copia didn't have time to finish when the dark-haired girl flew up to Sodo and pressed him back against the wall.

"What do you know?"  the girl growled angrily, - "answer!"

"Have you completely collapsed from the oak tree?"  Dew stared dumbfounded at her, fear was heard in his voice, "I was joking!  Let go, sick.  For help!"

"I do not trust you!  Answer before I break your skull ..." - the girl did not have time to finish, as Aether and Mountain grabbed her from behind and dragged her aside.

“Calm down,” Aether looked into Riana’s eyes, holding the girl tightly by the chin and not giving her the opportunity to turn away, while Mountain firmly held her shoulders from behind.

"Let me go, I'm calm", - Ri escaped from Mountain's hands, - "I'm leaving here.  Jerks.  And you," - she unceremoniously jabbed a finger at the still shocked Dew in the chest, - "you are the main moron of them", - she turned around and went towards the stairs.

“You really are a jerk,” Rain said softly to Sodo and followed the girl.

"I was just joking!  Who knew that she didn't understand jokes", - Dewdrop protested.

"As easy as you joked, just as easy for you to apologize," Cirrus said, and took Sodo under her left hand, while Cumulus took her right hand.  The Ghoulettes dragged the fire ghoul after Riana and Rain.

"Can someone explain to me what just happened?"  - Emeritus IV glanced at the ghouls remaining in the corridor - "I did not even have time to understand."

"The only thing you need to know is that Sodo is a complete idiot," Swiss replied.

“Have we ever doubted it?”  Sunshine asked cheerfully.

“No, but I think that nothing will change from the fact that we will stand here as a pillar, but Riana still needs to be returned,” Mountain answered.
