Silence.  Nothing but a vile oppressive silence and desperation.  Riana is in the bed.  Thoughts are tangled up in a ball and it seems that it can no longer be untied.  The more she tries to solve this puzzle, the more confused she becomes and the deeper she sinks into the swamp of fear.  Only one thought pleases - somewhere nearby Cumulus and Cirrus guard the girl's peace.

The dark-haired girl slowly rises on her elbows and picks up the phone.  It's only 4:00 A.M.  Sleep does not go, and after 4 hours the first couple begins.  “That means I should wake up in two and a half hours,” the girl thinks and, putting the phone aside, turns on the table lamp.  She takes a notebook and a pen in her hands.

Although I am writing this at 4 o'clock in the morning of the next day, but so much has happened, it seems that I do not have enough words to describe all the oddities of the past day.  But I'll try to be as brief as possible.  First: I met nine interesting people.  Although... not exactly human.  Eight of them, in their own words, are ghouls.  So far, I don't know what that means.  And I never got to meet the ninth, but he is cute, I think we will become friends.  Secondly: they said that my friend wants to kill me.  It sounds like nonsense, but for some reason I believe them.  It feels like I was made to believe it.  Thirdly: I was given a choice - either I move to the church of sin, or now I am under the supervision of one of the ghouls around the clock.  In principle, this is the main reason why two ghoulettes are sitting under my window right now.

The girl finished writing and, slamming the notepad shut, put it aside.  A raindrop hit the window.  And then more and more.  Ri anxiously looked out the window - while she sits in comfort and warmth, two girls, saving her ass from trouble, get wet on the street.  It was already dawn outside, therefore, quickly finding the ghouls with her eyes, the girl pointed to her house with her hand, calling them to the warmth.  The Ghoulettes gladly accepted the offer and in fifteen seconds they climbed out the window.

Of course, this could not happen silently, and Ri, quickly slamming the window sash, frantically waved her hands, raised her index finger to her lips, urging the girls to be quiet.  The Ghoulettes looked at each other, held hands, closed their eyes, whispered something, a sky-blue glow poured from the chest of their bodies right in the direction of the door.

When they finished, Cirrus sadly said: "Sorry, we forgot that your parents are sleeping now and did not want to cause inconvenience," - after a little pause, she added contentedly: "Now you can talk loudly, and your parents will not wake up."

"What did you do?" - with interest asked Riana.

“Don't forget we are air ghouls.  We created a small vacuum space near the door, taking all the air from there, and as you understand, there is no sound in a vacuum,” Cumulus said proudly.

"Brilliant ... I would not have thought of this," - the girl honestly admitted, - "stop .. you are soaked to the skin, wait, I'll give you a towel now."

“We don’t need,” Cirrus grabbed the dark-haired girl’s hand before she could get a towel from the closet, “not only can we create a vacuum, dear, we don’t even need a hairdryer,” with these words, Cirrus released Ri, took Cumulus by the hand and  they repeated the recent ritual, and in a few minutes their clothes were completely dry.

"This is really impressive" - Riana stared admiringly at the ghouls, to which they were clearly delighted, "what shall we do?"

“I know you people have a game of truth or dare like in the hell.  Let's change a little and play "truth or truth", how do you look at it?" Cumulus looked at the hostess of the room for an answer.
