Forest

As we trekked deeper into the forest, I couldn't help but wonder. The forest was lush, like a giant living thing that was breathing. We were surrounded by wilderness that stretched forever in every direction, glittering and glistening under the sun, full of mystery and wonder. There were hollows hidden among the trees where birds and squirrels hid in the shadows. I could almost imagine that there was someone home on this land. The leaves are green, colors of the forest and colors of a rainbow. The colors are so vivid, so bright, they catch your imagination and make you dream of your future. The colors are like a work of art, so beautiful you want to remember it forever. The sky was blue and clear, with a few wisps of clouds that had begun to build up for the approaching storm. Birds flitted from branch to branch The singing of the birds and their fluttering wings were like the rustling leaves under the feet of a squirrel.
