The internet.
Probably one of the most remarkable and impactful inventions in the world.
It's impacted many things such as education, business, health care, communication, being the most obvious ones.
The invention has had influence on humans (especially adolescents, sometimes even younger kids) since 1983.
Mankind was astonished by the amazing technology that almost everyone had to be in on it.
However it wasn't long before we realized it not only had an effect on everything around us but also us as people.
Models, singers, politicians, ect were all used on the internet to manipulate the way we feel about certain things.
Models and singers being at the top of the problem in teens.

Kpop.

In the beginning of 5th grade I found a friend with the same interest as me. We raved about it all the time to each other.
The internet had successfully twisted beauty standards into my brain using cute songs and fun dances as a deception to avoid the blame. I didn't know there was a blame to be made.
