Third P.O.V.

As they passed through the portal of mysterious wonders, both Erik and Sally felt their own bodies being lifted and tossed about. They clung to each other just waiting for the chaos and movement to cease.

And then..

It stopped.

Sally's P.O.V.

Spinning..spinning.. I felt myself still hanging on to Erik as we collapsed on what seemed to be..pavement. Pavement! We've moved! My eyes quickly fluttered and I wanted to scream out of excitement. It was the same alleyway! The same exact alley from where I left! I looked over at Erik who was still shaking keeping his eyes shut tight.

"Erik, it's alright. It's over, we're here." I whispered softly.

The shaking slowly came to a stop and he cautiously opened his eyes. As Erik scanned the area he almost collapsed in my arms.

"W-we..we are.."

"In the future." I finished.

"Oh dear lord." He said his breath escaping him. I couldn't help but grin, I was home! Home at last! I helped Erik get to his feet and he clung on to me.

This is just an alleyway..what is he gonna do when he actually sees it all...

"Come on." I said calmly trying to keep my excitement levels low while leading us both into the light.

Erik's P.O.V.

As she lead us both out of this strange alleyway, I thought I could prepare for anything that could happen next. Lord I was a fool..

I simply cannot describe it. People rushing about their daily business, carriages- WITHOUT HORSES! AND AND GIANT THINGS, LIKE POSTERS BUT WITH HEAVEN'S LIGHT AND I JUST- CAN'T- I JUST DON'T KNOW-

I noticed that Sally was holding my shoulders because I seemed to be hyperventilating. We stared at each other for a minute because I was calm again, she made me take a deep breath before we continued to walk through this different world. My tired yet curious eyes continued to search the area, the metal boxes with people in them travelled down the roads. The fashion, the smell, the food, everything was just so unbelievably weird. I look back at Sally who was simply grinning with excitement.

"Um Sally?" I asked quietly.

"Yes?"

"Um when and where are we?"

"That's a very question." She replied as she pulled us both to a bench. Sally and I sat down and she put her arms in there air.

"Welcome to Brooklyn, New York!" Sally said her face gleaming with happiness.
