Ali and I had been speaking for over a month now, and things were great. For some reason, he understood and got me in a way I felt like no one else could. Now I was just having some trouble of addressing the subject of his appearance, because I had still yet to find out what he looked like as his profile pic was a black fluffy poodle, which he had told me was his pet dog.
Spidey95: So Melanieeeeeeeee
Melanie98: So Aliiiiiiiiii
Spidey95: I was wondering, maybe you could send me a selfie?! ;)
I gasped looking down at my phone. Even though I had been pondering the appearance of Ali, I hadn't thought about having to confirm my own appearance to him. It was no secret that I was an ugly duckling, and I honestly didn't want him to see that.
Melanie98: Are you sure, I don't want to break your phone screen with my ugliness.
Spidey95: Mel, I'm sure you're far from ugly, I bet you're the prettiest girl in the entire world! Pleaseeeee? :)
Melanie98: I like it when you call me Mel...
Spidey95: Please Mel! I'll send you a pic of me, if you wanted?
I relaxed slightly at the proposition, and also the fact that I luckily dodged the awkward stage of having to ask him to send me a picture.
I placed my hand up to cover half my face, adding cuteness and a sort of mysterious affect. I didn't have any makeup on, which meant I looked ultra gross, but oh well. We can't all be perfect.
Melanie98: Be warned, I'm not wearing makeup ;)

Melanie98: Say something

Melanie98: I knew this was a mistake...
