"Hi," I said as I walked into the room with Anna by my side, seeing the four sweaty boys staring at us.

I wasn't expecting anything in particular but before I could process what was happening a rather tall figure had tackled me into a hug and I had a familiar puff of black and blue hair in my face. Michael.

"Hi," I whispered into his chest as we swayed back and forth, tightly hugging each other.

"Hi," He mumbled back into my hair quietly as I felt his grasp tighten ever so slightly before he pulled away, looking down at me.

"You came," his voice rang out happily as I grinned and nodded up at him.

"Mate, I was not going to miss out on seeing my favourite band live," I scoffed, causing the other people in the room to chuckle at me and I waved at the boys.

"So you're Melanie that Michael won't shut his cake hole about," Calum smiled as he walked up to me and gave me a fist bump, which I gladly accepted.

"And you're Calum, the badass bassist who I sometimes talk to when you steal Mike's phone," I winked, before my eyes widened as I realised I'd just let go of our secret.

"You what?!" Michael cried, throwing his hands around like a mad scientist.

"Oops," I said, raising my hands up in self defense and smiling up at him.

"Ashton, need anything, you come to me," The tanned sweaty drummer said as he went to shake my hand but I shook my head with a smile, pulling him in for a hug.

"And I'm Luke, hurt Mike and I hurt you," The pale blonde made his way over to me and my smirk faded as he gave me a Luke of utter seriousness.

But that faded when he burst into laughter, pulling me into a bone crushing hug and whispering in my ear "I'm only semi-serious."

"Guys, this is Anna," I introduced my friend who had already confidently positioned herself in the middle of Luke and Ashton, chatting away to them with ease.

"I can't believe we finally meet, Clifford," I said with a smile as he gave me a side hug, nodding in agreement.

"Me neither. I'm glad you came though," He said as the smile never left his face.

"Me too," I smiled, looking down at my converse. We all sat down on the couches in the dressing room, chatting away.

"So, how long do you have before you go to America?" I asked Michael, fiddling with the bracelets on my wrists.

"Just a few days," Michael sighed, and I felt his arm snake over my shoulder. I didn't want to overthink it though, easily falling into conversation with him.

It seemed like only minutes had passed when Anna was standing infront of me, a worried expression on her face.

"Babes, we need to leave or we're going to miss our train," I stood up immediately at her words, hugging each of the boys goodbye.

I then turned to Michael, hugging him tightly.

"Until next time?" I asked sadly and I felt him nod into my hair.

"Do you really have to go?" He asked quietly and it was my turn to nod.

"Mum will kill me if I'm not back before midnight," I sighed, placing a kiss to his cheek and saying goodbye before being drug out of the room by Anna.

The whole way home, all I could think was 'what if that was my only chance to ever meet him?'
