Quinn, Santana, Finn, and Puck all stood in a field on Green Meadow Academy grounds. Their parents standing on the sidelines with Mrs. Lynn. The three judges stood in front of the children. Finn cleared his throat to hurry the session, but as soon as he did, the middle judge gave him a death glare.
"We do not rush any sessions, you got that?" He said.
"Yes sir!" Finn peeped.
"Everything you do today and onwards will be marked. So don't mess around, and take this test seriously. Otherwise you won't pass," The right judge said.
Puck raised his hand, and the left judge pointed to him.
"What score do we have to get to pass? Because i'm not good with tests," Puck asked.
The other three looked to the judges, they wanted to know what they needed to pass as well.
"You'll need a ninety-eight and above to pass on each test, anything lower, then you haven't proven yourself worthy enough to attend Green Meadow Academy," The middle judge replied.
All the colour in the children's faces drained. An eighty was hard enough to get in the academy, so how on earth were they supposed to get a ninety-eight?!
The three judges grinned when they saw the fear in their faces. If they were afraid, then there was a high chance of them failing.
"You'll have four tests. Teamwork, Bravery, and your strength," The middle judge said.
It was now Santana's turn to raise her hand. Once she was given permission to speak she tilted her head.
"I thought you said there were four tests? You only named three?" She questioned.
"There are, but you'll have to come on the final day to see the last test," He grinned.
All the kids cursed profanities underneath their breath. If it wasn't being spoken about now, then there was a high chance it would be nearly impossible to pass.
The three judges looked to one another, and with one nod, the three of them stepped off to the side, joining the parents' and Mrs. Lynn.
"Your first challenge will begin now!" The right judge called out.
Without warning, the ground started to rumble, and nine giant bees burst out of the ground, throwing debris everywhere. For a second they seemed harmless, but as soon as they laid eyes on the quaternion, they aggressively flew toward them, making an awful buzzing sound.
Instinctively, the small group quickly separated and made a run for their lives. Their parents' were on the edge of their heals as they watched their children in distress. Even Mrs. Lynn was on the edge of her heals.
"STOP RUNNING AND USE TEAMWORK!" Mrs. Lynn shouted.
The judges gave the headmaster an agitated side glance.
"Regroup!" Quinn shouted.
Everyone quickly gathered around each other while the bees buzzed in the air, heading toward them.
"Santana and Puck, use your powers combined and make boiling water! Finn, use your lasers to damage their wings! And i can create a small barrier with vines to trap them for the time being," Quinn ordered.
Everyone nodded and did as they were instructed.
Puck shot jets of water out the palms of his hands at the bees, then Santana used her fire and shot it into Puck's water. Immediately, the water let off steam.
The bees roared and continued to try and fight the boiling jets.
Finn used his fingers and shot thin red lasers, piercing through the bees' wings. Quinn made a giant barrier around the bees with vines to stop them from retreating.
The bees collapsed to the ground and quickly turned to dust.
The group jumped up and down from excitement. They'd officially just passed the first challenge!
Suddenly, the ground rumbled again, and this time, hundreds, if not thousands of wasps emerged.
"Puck! Create a giant barrier around everyone, let me handle this!" Santana said.
Puck nodded and ran to all the adults. Quinn and Finn following from behind.
As the wasps started to swarm around Santana, Puck created a giant shield of water, and inside the shield of water, Quinn used her powers to grow very thick vines to use them as extra protection.
Santana burnt a few of the wasps away with small flames, but when she saw that everyone was secure, a giant volcano of fire and lava erupted from her body. In the midst of the fire and lava mixed together, Santana saw the corpses of the wasps dropping around her, before they immediately disintegrated.
Santana calmed her body and the fire and lava disappeared. She looked at her surroundings in complete shock. Everything around her was completely destroyed. Puck and Quinn removed the shield and looked at Santana wide eye. Everyone was speechless. No one knew she possessed such a strong move!
The judges held back their disappointment and cleared their throats.
"Alright, we'll go onto the next test tomorrow," The right judge said.
Santana walked over to the group and bashfully looked at everyone.
"So how'd i do?" She asked.
"How'd you do?! Santana you did so amazing!" Quinn praised her friend.
Everyone turned to face the judges, waiting for the scores.
"I'm sorry, but you're not going to get your score until all the tests are over," The left judge said.
Everyone groaned, but respected their decision.
Quinn used the tip of her shoe and regenerated the entire property. The field no longer looked like a warzone.
"So then we wait?" Mrs. Lynn spoke.
The middle judge nodded. "Don't get your hopes up. Anything can go downhill from here."
The group thanked the judges, and watched as they all turned on their heals to leave. Once out of hearing shot, all the students turned to their headmaster and looked at her with with big eyes.
"Are you proud of us?" Finn asked.
All the parents' watched, waiting to see what she'd say.
"You know i am," She said.
"Do you want us back in Green Meadow Academy?" Santana crossed her arms.
Mrs. Lynn warmly smiled and gave Santana a pat on her head.
"Of course i do. I never wanted to kick yous out in the first place, i was just doing my job," Mrs. Lynn informed.
All the kids joyfully looked at Mrs. Lynn. Hearing that made them all feel better. For a short while, they thought Mrs. Lynn had betrayed them, but in reality, she had no choice to do what she chose to do.
The quaternion just needed to pass all the tests, and then they'd be able to go back to school. Surely they couldn't all be that hard, right?
