Finn tossed and turned all night. He couldn't get what the judges were talking about out of his head. At some point during the night, Finn had gotten out of bed and paced around his room nervously. He was left on the fence, debating whether or not he should tell his friends. He didn't want to, but felt he needed to.
When morning came, Finn was already wide awake. His eyes were a bloodshot red, his face was so pale you would've thought he was a ghost, and his eye bags were darker than ever. Finn had gotten zero sleep that night, and it was only a matter of time before he passed out during the day.

Quinn, Santana, Finn, and Puck all stood in the small shopping district by a water fountain.
They were all incredibly nervous. They had another challenge today, and after the last challenge, they'd lost a little hope in passing
"Do you actually think we can pass this stupid test?" Quinn asked.
Her friends uncertainly shrugged. If they did, it'd be a miracle.
"I can't really say. We didn't do too good on the two previous challenges," Santana said.
Puck agitatedly sighed and pursed his lips slightly as he thought of something.
Finn on the other hand, remained completely silent, and he tried his best to keep his head clear so Quinn couldn't hear what he was thinking.
"What if we manipulate the judges?" Puck suggested.
"No, absolutely not!" Quinn retorted.
Finn looked up, wide eye.
"Now hang on, what do you mean by manipulate?" Finn questioned.
"Triangulation. These judges are toxic, and it's obvious! We're the third person they're bringing into their trio, because they like the thrill of being in control. And you know what a toxic person always has?" Puck said.
"What?" Everyone said in unison.
"A past! They've always got secrets, secrets that could potentially be worse than using magic outside of school grounds."
"Where are you going with this?" Santana asked.
"He wants us to dig deep into their lives," Finn said.
Puck energetically nodded, and a wide smile grew on his face.
"We dig deep into their lives, find something, and then turn the tables on them!" Puck said.
It was a tough suggestion. I mean, there was no way they could find anything on the judges' past! Not without breaking even more rules, and if they broke more, they'd be immediately arrested, if not murdered on spot. Quinn and Santana took a seat on the side of the water fountain and placed their heads into their palms.
"Do you know what'll happen if we do that?" Quinn asked.
"We get let off the hook!" Puck jumped from excitement.
"NO! We die! We're seriously lucky we weren't murdered for using our magic," Santana snapped at Puck.
Finn seemed quite intrigued. If it meant he could get away with telling his friends about what he'd heard, then perhaps this proposition wasn't so bad.
"I say we go ahead with it. We've still got a couple hours before our challenge, so why not dive into this case?" Finn said.
"Case? Finn, we are the case!" Quinn shot him a glare.
Finn and Puck looked to each other and then back to Quinn and Santana. Standing around arguing about whether or not to go through with this was getting them nowhere.
"Listen, Finn and i are going to do this. We completely understand why yous don't want to, and respect your decision. But, if you want to come with us, then now's your chance, because i'm leaving now before our test today," Puck said.
Finn nodded. Quinn and Santana glanced at each other, their faces full of concern. They didn't want to do this. They didn't want to get caught. They didn't want to break the law again. But letting their friends go alone was the last thing they wanted.
Quinn rolled her eyes and let out a long sigh. "Alright, we'll go. But we have to make it quick," She said.
Just as the group were about to start walking, they all stopped and looked at one another with the same expression.
"Um, where exactly are we supposed to go?" Santana asked her friends.
"That raises great question," Quinn said and placed her index finger on her chin. "The only logical option i can think of, is the courthouse. That's where all the files would be, no?"
"The courthouse it is then!" Puck raised a victory fist in the air.

_____

The quaternion arrived at a giant golden building with forty white marble stairs leading to the entrance. People walked in and out of the building. Most looking defeated, others looking like they'd just won a million dollars, and back then, a million dollars felt like twenty billion.
The group gazed at the building. Looking at the courthouse never got old.
"Well, feels good to be back," Finn sarcastically said.
"Let's just get this done and over with," Santana said.
Quinn, Santana, Finn, and Puck all walked up the marble stairs to the front entrance of the building. Once they walked inside, they were forced to hide behind some people as the three judges that weren't so keen with them, walked past. The three judges walked out of the courthouse.
"Do you think they're already going to the academy?" Finn asked.
"I don't know, but we need to hurry, this place is making my head throb," Quinn held her head as everyone's thoughts invaded her head.
The other three nodded and quickly looked around the courthouse. Santana spotted a doorway on the other side of the room and pointed.
"Look! Behind that door lies all the files," Santana said.
A sign above the door was engraved with 'Staff only'.
"How are we supposed to get in there? There's too many people, someone's going to see us!" Puck asked.
"We need a decoy," Finn said.
As the group stayed still, thinking of a plan, even more people started walking into the courthouse.
"I'll distract everyone, just casually walk to the door and then I'll do my thing," Puck said.
The others nodded and began walking away from their friend. When they were about halfway, they all turned around when they heard screaming coming from behind.
"HELP! HELP ME, I-I THINK I'M HAVING A BABY!" Puck shouted as he dramatically collapsed to the ground.
The whole courthouse diverted their attention onto him. As Puck started to be swarmed by everyone, Quinn, Santana, and Finn took that as their chance to walk into the 'staff only' room.
"AHHHH!!! HELP I THINK IT'S COMING!" Puck grabbed onto a random persons arm.
"Son, you're aware that boys don't have babies?" A man asked.
"Then i must be the first! BECAUSE THIS THING IS COMING RIGHT NOW!" Puck winced.
"I think it's just abdominal pain, because i can assure you, boys don't have babies," A woman said.
Puck released his grip from the person as he embarrassingly blushed and sat up.
"Perhaps you're right. I should go to the infirmary just to make sure it's not a stomach ulcer," He said.
