SASUKE'S POV
After who knows how long, I woke up in a white warm room. My eyes widened in shock when I realized it was a hospital. I tried to get up, but I was too weak. The next moment, a nurse entered the room and grabbed my shoulders, putting me down.
"Please don't move. You are still under treatment"
"Where am I?"
"You're in Tokyo Hospital. You were brought here in a critical condition but now you're stable"
"Who brought me here"
"A woman who is outside. Do you want me to call her in?"
"Yes" I hoped it was Hinata.
The nurse went outside and in the next moment, I saw a familiar face entering the hospital room. It was Konan, the last person I wanted to see.
I turned my head on the other side of the bed.
"Finally, we found you. How do you feel?" She asked worriedly, approaching my bed.
I refused to answer.
"Sasuke... you have to talk to me"
"Leave." I answered coldly.
"I will not leave. You have been missing for one month and then we found you thrown away on the side of the road barely breathing"
I refused again.
Konan sighed. After a few moments, her voice was serious and upset.
"Are you being serious right now?! Your cousin is dead. You have no idea the state of your mother's health since you disappeared. Hinata is still missing. That psychopath is still alive! Stop acting like a fucking child and man up!"
When I heard my mother's name, I turned my head in shock.
"What is wrong with my mother?!"
I could see that her expression changed into a sad one.
" When you disappeared, she had filed God knows how many missing reports to the police but no one could help her because of that bastard. She spread many printed posters with your face but they were ripped apart... You missing for almost a month, made her believe the worst and it has broken her so bad that..." Konan made a pause that made me freeze. She was saddened and looked at the ground.
"That what?!?"
"She had to be institutionalized in... in a psychiatric hospital"
My heart filled with anger and despair, and I felt I couldn't breathe anymore. I grabbed my chest, hyperventilating and I knew that a severe panic attack would suffocate me.
