I was heartbroken. Sakura's words hit me so hard that I couldn't hold my tears anymore. How can she believe that I would so something like that. Tenten came inside the bathroom and saw me crying on the floor. She quickly tried to lift me up.
"Hinata! Please, don't let them crush you like this! I'm here, you're not alone! You are stronger than this, believe me." Tenten's words were kind and honest but I was depressed. "Can you tell me what happened yesterday?" "Nothing happened, I swear. I just wanted to help him study, that's all...." "I see... It's okay. I trust you."
The bell rang.
"Come, class will start soon." She helped me stand up. I was tired and in that moment all I wanted was to go home and cry. But I had to stay. School was important to me. So, I got up, cleaned my uniform, washed my face and went to class. I was so furious on Sasuke but he was not in the class room. He was skipping school again. I asked myself, why would he lie about me? It's not like I am some popular girl that rejected him and now he was trying to get revenge by lying...
Sakura was staring daggers all through class, and that didn't help me focus. She was upset.
After class, me and TenTen saw Suigetsu and Juugo smoking outside. I wanted to ask about Sasuke so I went determined towards them.
"Where is Sasuke?" I asked firmly. "Whoa, easy girl. You could kill someone with that look." Suigetsu laughed. "You miss Sasuke already? I'm going to disappoint you but he's not the type to call the next morning" he said sarcastically. "Can you give me his number?" I said sternly "No honey, but I can give you mine if you want" he continued winking at me.
He wasn't taking me seriously so I glanced the other guy.
"Can you?"
He looked surprised but he shook his head in disagreement.
"Sorry, I can't. You shouldn't insist any longer. He's not going to treat you different" Juugo replied. "Yeah, give up on him, girl. You're not his type anyway." Suigetsu continued as he smoked from his cigar.
I sighed. TenTen put her hand on my shoulder.
"Come on, Hinata. Let's not waste our time with these idiots." "Hey, who do you call an idiot, ha?" Suigetsu jumped annoyed. "Ups, sorry, my bad. I meant LOsErS." TenTen said as we left.
SUIGETSU'S POV:
"Pffft I swear I will teach that girl a lesson someday!" I was pissed. "Let them be. Did you notice that girl's face? She had some purple stains on her cheek. I think she covered it with some powder but I could still see it." Juugo said with a serious tone.
"So what?" "Someone hit her" "What are you saying?" "Your stupid bet. She doesn't seem an easy one to get. Do you think...Sasuke forced her to do something?" "What?! No! Sasuke can be very persuasive when it comes to girls but he's not the kind to use force to get what he wants. Don't put this on me! "What happened then?" "Who cares. You know her reputation. She probably got into trouble. Why do you care anyway? She's the weirdo."
"Call him." Juugo demanded. "Man, I swear, you are a pain sometimes..." I complained as I called Sasuke.
