"You!" I shouted, pointing at Sasuke

"You!" I shouted, pointing at Sasuke.
He turned around, hands in his pockets, and raised an eyebrow.
"You're a jerk!" I continued.

"For someone who's afraid to cross the street, you've got some guts," he said sarcastically, stepping closer, looking down on me, trying to intimidate me with his black eyes.

"You're a coward and a loser! Only someone so low could do something like that to other people. You're a total douchebag!"

"Yo, Sasuke! Who's this sassy girl?" one guy laughed.
"Yeah, one more word and she'll smack you! Hahaha!"

They were making fun of Sasuke. He furrowed his brows.

"You better shut up and mind your own business," he warned me. "I'm in a good mood, but next time, I won't be so nice."

He glared at me and walked away. I was still shaking. It was intense—his eyes were terrifying. But I felt so bad for Sakura, I had to say something. Still, next time, I'd better avoid him.

SUMMER BREAK

School finally ended. Naruto was planning a vacation to France with his parents, and Sakura was heading to the Philippines. Neji came to pick up Hanabi. He always took her to the countryside for the summer, and she loved it.

Things moved quickly. My father and Ena got engaged, and we moved into a new house. It was much bigger. I only wondered—how was Ena going to manage cleaning it without a maid?

Raiden moved in, too.

Raiden Kimura. One word: Hell.

At first, he seemed like a normal guy—dark purple hair, beautiful blue eyes, long lashes, and glasses, just like Ena. He was different. When my father was around, he and Raiden would talk endlessly. My father was absorbed in him—constantly praising his progress and skills. That's when I understood why my father was so cold toward me... and sometimes even toward Hanabi. He had always wanted a son.

Raiden seemed okay, but something about him was off. Sometimes I caught him staring at me. I tried to talk to him whenever I had the chance, but he was always secretive. He never spoke about his hobbies or interests—only business. And when he stared... there was a strange, wicked gleam in his eyes that would haunt me forever.

He did a lot for my father—got him a job at a well-known company. Soon, money started coming in. Raiden was charming, knew how to get under people's skin. He treated my sister nicely, always bringing her gifts after his trips. My father was constantly away on business trips, leaving me home alone with Ena.

But every time he left, Ena would change.

She went from sweet and calm to strict and cruel. She constantly found reasons to scold me, to call me names. At first, I thought she was just having bad days. But soon, I realized the truth—she was wicked.
