JIMIN POV

He hesitated on the last few steps of the grand staircase when he spotted the three Alphas standing in the massive living room.

Old fear crept down his spine.

Awful memories of his time with Kai's pack came crashing down on him.

Kai throwing a plate at him.

Jiwoo kicking him over and over even when he was down, his red eyes filled with cruelty.

He clutched the staircase handrail,his nails digging into the wood. Stop it, he told himself.

Jungkook might've called him a guest but that didn't mean He could ruin the nice furniture or fixtures.

A big and warm hand landed on his shoulder. Normally, He didn't like casual touches.

He didn't jump or squeak, becos he inhaled a lungful of Jungkook's familiar and comforting scent.

"Hey, it's alright." Jungkook murmured in his ear.

"No one's going to hurt you here,I promise."

He stayed where he was for a few seconds.

Tae automatically walked to a large, dark-haired Alpha and kissed him on the mouth. Jin went to a golden-haired Alpha and gave his fingers a squeeze.

He only noticed the small and naked sleeping girl draped over the shoulder of Jin's Alpha.

He relaxed a little, because it soon became clear to Jin that the Alphas of this pack were pretty different from Kai and his friends.

In Jungkook's room, He had been surprised to see Tae and Jin freely teasing and joking with Jungkook.

Jungkook hadn't gotten the least bit mad, just annoyed.

He had been taught that Alphas usually resorted to physical violence when it came to disciplining their Omegas.

His Alpha dad had treated his Omega father like shit.

He never understood why the pair remained together.

They were united in their addiction, maybe.

Jungkook gave his shoulder a squeeze.

That gave him the courage to climb down those last steps.

The third and unmated Alpha watched him with open curiosity.

Jungkook introduced him first.

"This is San. That's Joon with Jin over there. The little girl draped over Joon's shoulder is Ria."

"Jia." Joon corrected. "Look. She hasn't thrown up on me. Jia's a good girl, unlike her sister."

"Gia and Ria are twins."Jungkook explained. "That's hobi."

Jungkook's lead Alpha parted from Tae and walked up to him.

Jimin started trembling, intimidated by the large Alpha.

He couldn't shake the image of Jungkook, hobi and San finishing off Kai, Jiwoo and Jio like it was no big deal.

These weren't average Alphas.

They were monsters underneath their smiles. The good kind, He reminded himself.

Kai, Jiwoo and Jio fought all the time but Jungkook's pack mates came with him to a strange territory to find his son.

"It's nice to finally meet you, Jungkook's been keeping you all to himself." Hobi said, holding out a hand to him.
