JIMIN POV
"I don't understand."
"Why don't you accept the
loan?" He asked, shoving the cheque back into Jimin's hands.
"Alpha." Jimin said in his most patient voice.
"You know I can't."
"You and your pack are already offering me free food and lodging, This is too much."
Jungkook let out an annoyed
and admittedly sexy growl.
"You'll be working in that cafe forever."
"That's the point, isn't it?" Jimin argued.
Jimin ran a frustrated hand through his hair.
It was a good thing Jungmin was downstairs, playing with the other kids while they had this argument in Jimin's bedroom.
Three weeks had passed since the pack had invited Jimin to
his first pack picnic.
San had returned from his hunt without ever finding Jiwoo.
San speculated that Jiwoo knew someone was hunting him.
Jiwoo got spooked and immediately went into hiding.
The Alpha doubted Jiwoo would go looking for them, The pack outnumbered Jiwoo after all.
Jimin knew better, although he didn't voice his doubts.
San had already done all of
them a favor by trying to track Jiwoo down.
Meanwhile, he noticed Jungkook growing more anxious with each passing day.
The social worker would pay them a visit anytime soon, probably one of these days.
Jungkook didn't think he was ready.
Jimin disagreed.
Despite returning to his job, Jungkook had also been
spending plenty of time with Jungmin and Jimin.
Jimin had begun seeing them
as a family.
This was their first official fight as a couple.
Jimin didn't know whether he should be happy or worried.
"Jimin, the silent treatment
won't work."
"The cheque's a formality but I can easily transfer the funds online to your bank account."
"Don't you dare."
Jimin punctuated each word to
a poke to Jungkook's big chest.
That only made him think of Jungkook without his shirt on.
Couples who fought always had angry sex afterwards, at least that was what Jin told him.
Couldn't they get to the sex
part now?
Jimin really wished Jungkook would drop this. Couldn't the Alpha understand Jimin needed to stand on his own two feet?
He wanted to be independent again, Jimin didn't want to be reliant on anyone else.
