JUNGKOOK POV

Jungkook stared down at Jia.

The playful baby giggled but eventually calmed down enough for Jungkook to finish changing her diapers.

An old ache started in his heart.

He missed out on moments like this with Jungmin.

Jungkook hadn't been there when Jungmin took his first
steps or said his first words.

Young had been adamant about keeping Jungmin from him.

Old anger swelled inside him, then Jungkook shoved it aside.

Young was dead, No use dragging the past into the light.

He had no choice but to deal
with the present, To make do with his current situation.

"Thanks for helping out."Jin said.

The Omega had also finished changing Gia, Jungkook noticed the identical dresses the twins wore.

Jin made an effort to dress up as well and the Omega also gelled his hair.

"You're heading out?" Jungkook guessed.

"The twins and I are meeting  Joon for dinner." Jin said.

Excitement shone in Jin's eyes.

"It's been ages since Joon and
I went on an official date."

"You can leave the twins with me, especially if you guys want some alone time." He offered.

Hobi, Tae and Jih would also be having dinner out, Jungkook remembered.

San meanwhile had set off for Seoul that morning.

San's last text to him had been at lunchtime.

The other Alpha had been busy at work looking for corpses but had only found the decaying body of Jiwoo's mate, Lee.

That worried him a little.

"Are you sure?" Jin asked.

"They're a lot of work."

"I don't mind, It's not like I
have anything better to do."

"Besides, Jimin's here with me."

he added. "And you know how good Jimin is with kids."

"Then I gratefully accept your offer, Joon will be thrilled."

"I can't remember the last time since it was just the two of us."

Jin paused. "How's it going between Jimin and you?"

"Any progress?" Jungkook sighed.

He took additional leave from work to spend more time with Jimin and Min but that wasn't exactly what he'd done over the past three days.

Jungkook had busied himself with chores around the house, because he felt ashamed for cornering Jimin in the garden.

For pressuring Jimin like that.

"That's answer enough." Jin said.

"I'm working on it."

"Well just so you know, Joon and I are rooting for you." Jin said.

"Joon? I doubt it, I know San
and him made a bet about
Jimin and me." he pointed out.

Jin flashed him a guilty look.

Bingo.

Jungkook didn't take that news too hard, That was just like his pack mates.

Sometimes, the other Alphas acted like dicks.
