JUNGKOOK POV

Jungkook grabbed a coffee from the sandwich place opposite
the diner.

He figured he'd get warm
while stalking Jimin.

After paying for his coffee, he exited the shop only to see Jimin's struggling figure.

A big bastard in a yellow hoodie began dragging Jimin inside an ugly blue unmarked van.

Jungkook dropped his coffee
and ran right into the street.

A truck honked.

Instinct made Jungkook take a step back.

The van was no longer parked on the road.

There was no sign of Jimin, he spotted the vehicle up ahead.

It didn't stop when the traffic light turned red.

Whoever had taken Jimin had been impatient to spirit him away.

He saw red.

Jungkook's wolf nearly tore out of his skin but Jungkook willed the fierce beast back.

If he shifted now, what good would it do?

Even him couldn't outrun a moving vehicle. Jungkook tried to think past his smouldering rage.

He couldn't lose sight of the van.

He immediately ran back to his truck, he started the engine
and drove like a speed demon.

He tailed the van but kept his distance.

Jungkook speed dialled Hobi.

"He got Jimin, Fuck I took my eye off him for a second to
get coffee."

"I shouldn't have." Jungkook
was saying.

"Slow down."

"Who took who? Jimin?"

"I didn't see his face but the fucker was huge, My guess it's Jiwoo."

"He hasn't left town after all,I don't know how he found Jimin."

"Was it by accident?"

"I don't know and don't care."

"I'm following him now."

"I'm heading there right away."

"Don't ask me to stay put."

"I can't." he blurted.

"My mate's life is in danger."

"I won't sit around and wait for back-up, It's not sensible."

"Jiwoo might be unstable, Who knows how he'll react."

"I understand, I'll be there as fast as I can and Jungkook?"

"What?"

"Be careful, This isn't the same Alpha you fought months ago."

"He lost both his mate and pack."

"He won't be sane and that makes him unpredictable."

"I know." He ended the call.

His focus remained on Jiwoo's blue van, There were three vehicles ahead of him.

Jiwoo left town and started on
a smaller road that would take them right into the heart of the Seoul woods.

This trail seemed familiar.

Then it hit Jungkook, This path would lead to the direction of Kai's old cabin.

He was going to make sure Jiwoo would never arrive at his destination, not in one piece.

Eventually, they'd run out of road.

Kai's cabin wasn't easily accessible by vehicles.

Eventually, Jiwoo had to stop
the van and continue on foot.

He knew that Jimin would make it hard for the Alpha.

His Omega would fight to his
last breath.

He'd been teaching Jimin some self-defence lessons along with Jungmin.

Jimin would give Jiwoo a hell
of a fight.

Damn it all.

This was all Jungkook's fault.

He shouldn't have entered the sandwich shop.

If he kept his eye on Jimin at
all times, Jiwoo wouldn't have ambushed Jimin and taken
him captive.

A random thought occurred to Jungkook.

During his panicked call to hobi, he referred to Jimin as his mate.

Those words just seemed right.

But first, Jungkook needed to make sure Jimin got out of this nightmare alive.

He made a grievous mistake before.

In his hurry to get to his son and Jimin, He didn't check his kill.

After Jiwoo and Lee fell into the river, Jungkook should've followed them.

This time, Jungkook was going to make sure Jiwoo would join his crazy Omega mate in death.

Jungkook looked for Jiwoo's van.

His anxiety shot up.

An empty stretch of road stared back at him, He used his wipers to clear the rain.

Still no blue van.

Where the fuck was it? How could the van have disappeared?

He turned the truck around and drove slowly, He finally saw what he missed earlier.

He'd been so preoccupied by his train of thoughts, he didn't see the small muddy path between the trees.

It was still raining but Hr could see the fading tire tracks left in the mud, He steered the truck down the narrow trail.

Branches and bushes whipped the truck.

He soon entered a clearing.

He spotted Jiwoo's abandoned van. He got out.

Rain drenched his clothes as he examined the van, Jiwoo had
left the sliding doors open.

Seeing the droplets of blood on the ground made him growl.

This time, Jungkook let the wolf rip out of him.

Clothing tore.

Fur covered his body.

Bones broke.

Jungkook fell on all fours.

The violent change left him panting but he didn't have any time to lose.

He put his nose to the ground and followed the blood trail.

Jimin was bleeding.

What had Jiwoo done to him? He found a pile of shredded clothing.

Two pairs of clothes, Both Jiwoo and Jimin were in animal form.

Had Jimin shifted, thinking he could escape Jiwoo easier on
four paws rather than two legs?

Smart Omega.

He continued to track his mate.
