A/N: something inspired a song. Enjoy!

Are you?

Are you?

Coming to the tree?

An orange tabby white demon tom was being dragged by a swarm of cats dragging him. Next to the tom was a long thick piece of rope. The rope had a loop at one end, a tabby angel she-cat tied the rope to a tree. The tree was perched on a hill and its bark was dark. The branches were crooked and sharp like claws.

They strung up a man

They say he murdered three

Before the tom knew it, the thick rope wrapped around his neck and he saw his sister. Her head hung and tears leaking out of her pink-red eyes. Slowly The tom's vision blurred and the world turned black. He opened his eyes to see his paws stained in blood. He looked around and saw the faded bodies that he killed. A smirk appearing on the tom's muzzle.

Strange things had happened here

No stranger would it be

If we met at midnight

In the Hanging Tree

Two tiny toms wrestled together as a she-kit watched them in a distance before padding away. She sighed, the dark feeling of loneliness settling in her stomach like a pit. When she looked up again the sky was dark and overhead was a dark tree with several ropes with loops hanging from its dark crooked branches. The she-kit felt happy for an odd reason and decides to get closer to the tree. She closed her eyes, not even noticing something wrapping around her neck...

Are you?

Are you?

Coming to the tree?

A woman with black hair and dark blue eyes walked around in the forest, hugging herself. How long was she lost again? 12 minutes? Hours? The sky was dark and glittered with stars. She saw a tree with ropes in a distance. She walked up to it, feeling one of the ropes.

Where dead man called out

For his love to flee

Strange things did happen here

No stranger would it be

If we met at midnight

In a Hanging Tree
