Infected

A/N: I'm writing this on meh phone. Also, this is with LilacXWhisper. Whisper belongs to deliriousmind . Enjoy! Also, the best part for this story is the one with bacteria and the brain part...idk

Warning: animal Yuri! Don't like don't read. Also maybe a feels warning. Grab a tissue...or a billion...

Whisper was concerned for Lilac. The brown she-wolf looked out from the window, fear glistened in her violet eyes. Her lover locked herself in her room for weeks ever since they heard news about an infection spreading to animals who had experiments done on them. Floralight already had the infection. The once-energetic pale blue she-wolf had ragged fur, white foam coming from her mouth and lifeless, pupilless eyes. Whisper shuddered, remembering how the pale blue wolf lumbered toward Lilac, her head flopping on one side.

But this morning was different. The small cinnamon she-wolf had awoken, hearing moaning from Lilac's room. Whisper ran and slammed the door open and saw a terrifying sight. The tabby she-cat was curled up into a ball, some blood stained on her muzzle

And there's something in her blood

The she-cat had a small pool of blood that was black instead of dark red. The brown wolf started at the bite wound on her mate's leg.

And there's something in her leg

The bite mark was infected. The skin was ragged and the flesh was shriveled up like raisins. 'She bit herself ' horror shot through the cinnamon she-wolf. The infected wound smelled like a decaying carcass. The she-cat moaned in pain. Whisper ran to her, worry in her violet eyes (A/N: when I typed 'violet' it auto-corrected to 'toilet' XD)

"Lilac!"The tiny brown wolf ran to her"are you okay?"

"I'm okay..."The tabby wheezed "the infection is taking over"

"B-but," Whisper stammered. She KNEW the tabby she-cat stayed in a windowless room for weeks! "how?"

The tabby she-cat rose to her paws staggering. "The chemicals that the white-coats injected are mutating." she rasped, "that is how it spreads"

"But I thought it spreads when the infected bit someone!"The brown wolf cried

"For you, it is," she mewed, "but I have one request before I leave."

"What is it?"

"Kill me"

"W-what?!"

"I said-"

"I know but I can't!"

And there's something in her BRAIN

Lilac backed off and coughed out a black liquid and white form appearing out of her mouth. A green glowing liquid seeped out of her infected leg. Whisper backed away, her violet eyes wide, before softening and embracing her infected mate.
Screams were heard and blood spilled with two ragged bodies in the middle of a red pool.
