He touches the mirror and in it is his reflection. In his reflection is someone just like him, but better in every way possible.

The reflection just seems to take away everything, grabs them as quickly as possible. While he waits for them to come to him, where they meet halfway. He no longer loves that way he paints. He counts the scars on his thighs everyday.

Day after day, he screams a silent scream, and no one can hear. He makes sure they cannot hear him, for he is afraid of the envy that poisons his body. So he stays silent until they get suspicious. Silent he stays.

He constantly chokes on the poison that is inside, constantly chokes on the thick tar that he drinks. It dances and sleeps inside, feeding a monster that grows and grows. He became its host.

All he has left is his lover, whom he silently cries:
'Why do you still stay with me?'

Doubt that churns his belly. Poison that runs in his veins, and tar that sleeps inside of him.

He wonders if his lover will leave for the other one day. If so, he will not stop his love. Even if it hurts. Even if it brings pain, he will never utter a word. He understands the maiden that gave her lover away to her loathing sister.

She just wanted her sister to be happy, even if she wasn't.

He wanted his lover to be happy and if his lover leaves, he will be happy for his love.

Even if he isn't.
