Starphano: To-Be Parents?!

Star awoke with a pounding head, snapping her eyes open to reveal the bright sunlight. She groaned, turning to find an empty spot beside her. Eyes wide, she shot up from bed. 'Overslept again?!' She thought, groaning as she quickly got ready. 

"This is the forth time this week!" She sighed, rushing out of the room and into the woods to find something to eat. Ever since two weeks ago, she had been rejecting Macaroon's delicious food and going to forge for gem berries.

Mostly amethyst berries.

...And any edible that was purple. 

It was odd, since her favorite gem berry was sapphire berries. However, it was nice to visit the forest where she had lived with her spirit parents. After gathering a handful of amethyst berries, she carried them to the largest tree in the forest. A cool breeze tangled through her midnight hair as deep, rich voice whispered a hello.

"Hello father," she greeted the wind, as she sat down near the root of the tree,"hello mother"

"It is nice to see you after so long!" the tree creaked, as a shimmering, sweet voice chirped.

"Yeah," Star smiled and plopped one of the glittering violet berries into her mouth.

"How's the child?" The deep voice asked, causing her choke spit out the mushed up berry.

"What?!" She shrieked.

Two faded spirits appeared in person. One was thin female with long black hair that faded to blue at the tips and waved in the wind. She wore a long blue dress with a wavy blue gradient skirt that covered her feet. The bodice was blue and sleeveless and she wore a simple black choker with a blue teardrop bauble. Her skin was pale and her eyes were ocean blue. The bulky man beside her made her look small in comparison. He had tan skin with platinum blond hair that slightly covered his stormy grey eyes. He wore a simple grey muscle shirt with jeans. The pair looked at their daughter, eyes glimmering in pure delight.

"Oh Star," the female spirit, floated towards her and touched Star's cheek, who shivered at the contact, "you didn't know?"

Star nodded meekly like a little child.

The male trust out into a rumbling laughter, causing Star's face to flush in embarrassment and the female to glare at him.

The man quieted down to a chuckle, "Well congratulations on you and your mate!"

"It's Stephano dear," the female corrected, sighing, but smiled at her beautiful young daughter, happiness glimmering in her ocean blue eyes.

Her daughter was pregnant. 

And she would be it's ghostly grandmother.

"So what now?" Star asked nervously.

"Well..." The female soon started ranting to her daughter symptoms, as Star groaned.

Time had passed by quick and Star could barely grasp on to the conversation. 

"...I remembered those times when we watched you grow," Her father smiled, remembering the little girl that ran and frolicked around in the forest.

"You looked like what we thought you would," Her mother smiled happily, "Skin like porcelain dolls, hair as dark as raven's feathers and eyes that twinkled and glittered like stars"

Her father wrapped a huge arm around her mother's slim waist and agreed, "yes, you were our little star"

"Dad!" Star buried her face into her hands, blushing. How embarrassing it was! And she thought King Edward flirting with Star (he thought she was Dream) in public wasn't embarrassing enough!

"Oh, quit embarrassing her already!" Her mother laughed, elbowing her father's side.

"Alright," Her father chuckled and looked at the sky, "It is getting late already."

Star stood up straight, "well it was nice meeting you again mom and dad," she smiled,"but I have to go, bye!" She ran off.

"Be careful!" Her mother called out as her parents faded into the shadows.

She walked back to the kingdom and immediately, bumped into a worried Stephano.

"Thank goodness you were alright!" He hugged her and looked into her eyes, worry shining in his eyes, "I was looking for you!" 

He peppered her face with light feather kisses and murmured out a slew of things, from 'Where you have been?' to 'You could've died!'

She giggled, "Stop! That tickles!"

"Then tell where you've been!" He demanded softly.

The silence grew thick suddenly as Star shuddered out, so softly, that he could barely hear her.

"S-Stephano...I-I'm pregnant"
