Carmen's POV
We headed outside we're all the contestants were setting up there podracers too. All the flags started to head out onto the track. "Be safe" Shmi said. "I will mom I promise." Anakin replied. Shmi then asked me if wanted to go up with everybody to watch or go with Kitster and stay on the track fand wait for Anakin. I told her I'll stay on the track for Anakin.
"Be safe Ani for me I can't bear to see you get hurt" I said. "I promise my Angel I'll be fine" he said. I nodded my head and went up to him and gave him a couple of kisses on the cheeks and forehead and told him "I believe in you Ani don't you ever forget it. I love you Ani, your my best friend and as my best friend you have a duty to be alive after the race, ok..."
