Repairing The Heart Part 1, Chapter 1
At Skye and Lorenzo's—Skye and Lorenzo were still having marriage problems. Skye wasn't ready to forgive Lorenzo yet, and Genevieve was still moping around about her heartbreak over Alistair.
Genevieve was in her room, lying on the bed crying when Lorenzo came in. "Sit down by Genevieve. It's enough moping around here. You need to forgive Alistair." Genevieve just looked at her father. "You need to get back to your school work. Don't let him take any more from you." Lorenzo pulled Genevieve up, and she just looked at her father as Skye came in. "Skye, maybe you can talk some sense into our daughter," Lorenzo said and left as Genevieve got up. "Genevieve, your father is right. You need to stop crying." "Mother, I think I'm pregnant." "No, I'll make you an appointment with the doctor. Whatever it is, we will face it," Skye said. She was worried this would happen.
At Carly's-Carly was home, pouring herself some coffee and thinking about that night in the cabin and almost dying when Bobbie came in. "Carly?" "Bobbie, scare Carly," "Mama, I didn't hear you. I'm sorry." "It's okay. Carly, what's going on?" "I'm having a hard time adjusting after being back. I could have died that night." "Yes, but you were saved." "By Ava? All of the people? I still don't believe she was just in the right place," "Do you think it was Ava who kidnapped you?" "No, but I will find the person." "Carly, just be careful. I can't lose you again." "You wouldn't?"
Ava-Ava was thinking about how she saved Carly, an enemy she thought Julian was in the cabin, but it was just Carly. David came in. "Ava, I can't believe that I saved Carly! She should have died." "Ava?" "You wouldn't say anything." "No, I need to connect with Julian; he won't answer his cell phone."
