Repairing The Heart Part 1, Chapter 14
Felicia/Mac-Felicia was at home when her cellphone rang. She answered it. "Felicia Scorpio." No one said anything, and she hung up. As Maxie came in, she said, "Mom, I keep getting hung up." "So do I," Felicia replied. "That's odd, something is going on." "Yes, it is."
At the Quartermaine mansion, everyone was celebrating Emily's return when Elizabeth entered and saw Emily. "It can't be," Elizabeth said. "Yes, Elizabeth, it's me," Emily confirmed. "How?" Elizabeth asked. "I don't know all the details," Emily replied. "Well, I'm glad you're here," Elizabeth said, and they shared a hug. "I heard you're married to my brother, and I'm glad," Emily added. "Me too," Elizabeth replied.
As Genevieve stopped by, she asked, "So, if you're Emily, what happened to Rebecca? How is Alistair?" "You know Alistair?" Emily asked. "Yes, we've gotten close," Genevieve admitted. "Oh, I don't know what happened to Rebecca, but Alistair isn't taking it well. He was close to Rebecca, I believe," Emily said. "Yes, he was," Elizabeth agreed.
"Skye, I hope you hired a great lawyer to take Lorenzo for everything," Tracy said. "I'm not divorced; my husband and I are trying to work things out," Skye replied. "Why! You could do much better," Tracy argued. "It's called love," Skye responded.
Genevieve was looking at pictures on the fireplace and saw one of Edward and Lila when Ned approached her. "They were your great-grandparents," Ned explained. "Yes, Lila and Edward," Genevieve confirmed. "What was Lila's maiden name?" Ned asked. "Morgan," Genevieve answered. "Morgan? That's a nice name," Ned said. "Yes, why?" Genevieve asked. "Skye, look at Genevieve," Ned said.
"Nothing," Genevieve said, then asked, "Why don't we have breakfast?" Skye wasn't ready to tell everyone that her younger daughter was pregnant. Genevieve was upset and went outside to think. Brooklyn followed her. "Genevieve, you look upset. Are you okay?" Brooklyn asked. "No, I'm pregnant, and my parents are acting like it's something to be ashamed of. They don't want to tell anyone," Genevieve said. "Just give it time, but I'm sure your mother isn't ashamed of you. You're not alone; you have this crazy family," Brooklyn assured her. "We are hardly here," Genevieve replied. "Yes, hopefully we can change that," Brooklyn said. "I know my father isn't welcome here," Genevieve admitted. "No, but it's not your fault or your siblings'." They went back inside.
'Is everything okay?" Brooklyn asked. "Yes," Genevieve responded. "Skye, when you go by Genevieve," Brooklyn said, "in time." "Alright," Genevieve agreed. "So, Lila Rae, you're moving to the brownstone?" Brooklyn inquired. "Yes, I am," Lila Rae answered. "We have a lot of rentals," Brooklyn said. "Nice, I can't wait to meet them," Lila Rae replied.
